Been a lovely few days with OH.
Again, I am feeling a in rut/cage with this house. It is a lovely looking house but want more space around us, the neighbours are always around and it isn't restful for us. For a family that wants this place and is more lively, this place would be fine. After the traumas we have had to endure for the past 10 years, we need a more remote location.
Went for drive to see what is around and it is dire, don't they build nice places that aren't on estates in Scotland - it's a huge place but why jam places up together so close? They are designed to make people tense and angry:( Never mind battery hens - what about battery humans?
I haven't slept well, up too early yesterday three days in a row and now overtired. Sleeping in the other room as there are some nesting birds and they flutter a lot in the mornings:( They will be gone soon.
It feels like the place will never sell, not find a new place and be stuck here. I need us to move on and enjoy our rediscovered togetherness. For the right people this place is fine, it isn't for us anymore.
I am fine until I have to depend on others for my fate.An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Hopefully they will be impressed with it, had a 12 hour sleep, feel a lot better now Im back to sleeping properly. Interview/assesment at HBOS on Monday then Barclays on Weds, hopefully positive news from either of those. Supposed to be getting an interview with Abbey too, but got a letter today saying that I wasnt succesful despite being told when I rung them midweek that I had an interview. Strange. Ill give them a ring i think.
Glad you got a good night's sleepAn average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Good morning all. Just wondering if anyone could recommend a good book about being a more confident, happier person. I suffer from depression and have started doing more excercise (running) which makes me feel really good so will keep that up. Just wondered if there were any good books I could read that could help me improve my confidence socially and be more positive.

Good morning Karrie :hello: Glad you're finding the exercise is helping. It helps me too. My mood took a bit of a dip in the latter part of last year and my exercise routine suffered, but my energy is returning now and I managed 3 thirty-minute runs last week and a thirty-minute swim, which is more than I've done for ages.
I'm afraid I don't have a book I can recommend. I must confess I have a bit of an allergy to self-help books in general:) Hmm, maybe that's why I have problems:D But hopefully one of the guys here can recommend a book for you.
Have a good Sunday.
Much love,
