In other news, I have 3 unconditional offers for university, hopefully the plan to "make ltd great again 2007" is almost finished, the car has been sold, the money is yet to arrive (BACS) once it does then most of my other debts will be wiped out. The upheaval is almost complete, I just need a day job, I missed a night out with ex work mates last night, sleeping way too much.0

EthelBloggs wrote:aww carol.. have you thought about keeping a journal? I was advised to do it but found it a bit difficult but it's been recommended to me by various people in the mental health care world and is sposed to be a really good way of making sense of things.
Your hubby sounds lovely tho.. and I hope you feel much better for letting it all out *huggs*

That's great news LTDI've just been approved to interrupt my studies, lol.. so we're a bit of a contrast there.. what is it you plan to study?
My car has been sat on the drive for nearly 2 years, I lost my confidence as far as driving goes and also it's just too expensive in london, am thinking of selling it, should get at least £1500 for it although I've seen 'em on ebay for 3k
Night shift is a killer.. I used to do it years ago and it took me ages to get back to normal when I went back on days.. I don't think it's too healthy either in terms of missing out on daylight and stuff.☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

I keep buying suitable notebooks, but when it comes to it I can't think of what to write.. and also I think I'm a bit afraid in case someone finds it and reads it.. I dunno
The repair man I have is great.. he does everything.. bit of a handy man and he doesn't charge the earth and is quite willing to barter too.. like.. last year he put a new shower in for me and only charged me £40 and the old pump that we had, lol
Go get that caffeeeeeeeeen flowing!! you know you want to☆ §ügÅr cØÅTëÐ pØï§Øn ☆

Thank you, it was only ever going to be a short term thing was nights, Im actively seeking other jobs now as we speak, have applied for two others since T cook didnt come off, Im going to do business studies in all likelihood, however once i receive notification of what specific offers i have i will then make a decision, all of my choices were business related.0 -

Thank you for all your advice guys, you are all lovely in this thread (I love all the thanking that goes on, much nice than on other threads!).
It's my bf (we don't live together). He was really depressed about a year ago. I was really, really worried about him at the time but he refused to go to the doctor or get any real help. It was really bad and I felt totally useless
After a few months he totally changed his situation (location / job) and gradually things seemed to be on the up. Things went back to how they used to be and I (niavely?) thought it was probably the situation and circumstanes before that caused the problems. But recently he has said and done a few things that have worried me he might be slipping back. It is no where near as bad as before, but I want to help him so we can try and stop it getting to that.
He just seems really unhappy with his life in generalThis is totally unjustified, but I realised telling this isn't going to help.

Hi littlemiss, thanks for posting hun. I totally understand his reluctance, but it really would be a good idea for your b/f to have a chat with the doc - as you say, before things get too difficult for him (and you). Going to the doctor is a sign of strength and courage, not of failure, and nowadays doctors are far more 'up' on dealing with mental health issues and have access to a wise range of treatment options of varying kinds, including counselling. Perhaps you could go along with him for support? Big hugs to you hun. Love, Sazzyxxx4 May 20100 -
Hi my lovlies :hello: Sorry for not being around last night. Bit of a slow start for the ole sazzter today:rolleyes: Just going to make myself another (decaff:D) cuppa, see if that can jolt me into action:) Hope you've all got nice things planned for today.
Much love to you all,
