No because the 2nd EA won't be interest since the original EA will get the commission. You could have got a friend to put a low offer in.0 -
Do you think we could make a £135k offer to the other EA, and would they be aware of our other offers?
Why would the 1st EA get the comission if they're not completing the deal?0 -

I can't remember the exact term; possibly "introduction", but any professional EA will tell you that unfortunately, as you have viewed the property with the other EA then they will get the commission.0 -
don't do it! They'll say ok, £135, you'll spend best part of a grand on survey and fees, the day before exhange they'll say "ooh no, we meant £140.."
run away! they are not honourable vendors.Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0 -
Well I thought the £135k offer would make the £140k offer look good!! (Does this sound stupid?)
Hubby just rang EA no.2 and asked if there had been any other interest in the property and they said none at all, but they did know that the vendor was looking for a £144k offer for it. So our detective work has established that this one is def out of our price league.0
