Can't offer any innovative ideas for surplus Ryvita as I've had this problem myself when I've overstocked occasionally and they've gone stale. Short of crushing them up with a rolling pin to make breadcrumbs which doesn't work well as they disintegrate to fine dust, mine have ended up being mixed into the wild bird seed box and gone onto the bird table.0

Made some EasiYo raspberry yoghurt which unfortunately didn't set so melted a Raspberry Jelly with the minimum amount of water and stirred in the liquid yoghurt. It made a perfectly fine Raspberry dessert. If you've made ordinary (unflavoured) yoghurt which doesn't set, you can use a couple of leaves of melted gelatine mixed in with a pint of liquid yoghurt to make it "set" instead of wasting it.0

Anyone got any ideas to use up ryvita type cracker bread things?
Got 2 packs bought from Aldi and OH changed his mind about having them with cottage cheese each day.
I've got no idea what else to do with them
Newly, I had a search and there is very little but a couple of suggestions in this threadA little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Hello all,
I don't normally post on this thread but it caught my eye because of something I did last night.:o
I had a small piece of boiled bacon left over and I wanted to make pea and ham soup today. When I went to put it in the fridge I found my dh had put it in the bin. It had n't touched anything so I took it out. My dh saw me and was horrifed so I ran it under the cold tap just for show, dried it and wrapped it up and put it in the fridge. Just one for soup tonight then. Would any of you have done this or do you think I have gone a bit extreme. I am a recovering shopaholic with all the waste and excess that that entails.0 -
I've just had a delish carrot, shallot and tomato soup for lunch inspired by 3 slightly shrivelled looking tomatoes I found at the back of the fridge last night :j:eek:0

If it was still wrapped in clingfilm I'd have done it in a heartbeat. If it landed on a plastic bag or something clean then yeah I'd have thought about doing it.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -

Hi All,
I made a banana cake yesterday and although it tastes ok, it is a bit heavy in texture. I strongly suspect its not going to get eaten (think I put in too much banana). Any ideas what I can do with it.
I have a lemon drizzle cake in the oven which hopefully will turn out much better.:DStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.
