Oops slipped onto page four - every time it does that I feel I should be more earnest about the debt busting! Anyway so far squashed 2 frogs this morning ( think they will pop up gain but at least for the moment they are subdued) and just about to do 16 mile round trip to post them and 2 parcels from Eb*y sales - one of which turned up here yesterday - I had asked a friend to put it which she did but the labels where put on return address side of parcel:mad: OH accepted parcel and signed for it and was about to 'have a go' about BUYING more stuff on Eb*y when I pointed out the problem   So sent grovelling email to buyer and it will have to go today first class :(

At least the team won. My team at moment:) Dont think they have a feline in Hades a chance :o

Sunday morning weigh in on the ELMM diet 14 st 3 lbs - hoping to be under 14 for Christams so should do it - I dont beat myself up about it all

We are going to run out of money this month and I can see CC coming into use before next payday but have decided will pay off the whole amount if that is indeed the case. I did a T*sco shop early hours Saturday morning and really thought about what I was buyng I did get a couple of BOGOFs to put away for Christmas ( we are quite disciplined and are not tempted - so much so I found a tin of shortbread biscuits in shed when we were packing for our camping holiday this year - made nice addition to camp rations!)I also bought more 'value items' than usual and the total was still over £80:eek: More eating out of freezer for next couple of weeks I think.

Havent done much on Eb*y front liked I hoped to - but that gives me a week off packing sales - just a couple of items finishing today. Once I have done a Flylady tidy again will put some thought into what to sell - people are beginning to think about Christmas :o

Also need to get that darn snowball thing into action..............

I am having a bit of a spat with S*nt*nd*r too - threatening debt recovery for a sum under £100 which I am disputing ( long story) I have sent a complaint to the Financial Ombudsmen Service but I may just bite the bullet and pay it just to get them off my back - think that is what they hope - just wear you down and then you will cave in:mad::mad:

Tried to pay S*nt*nd*r today - an amount under £100 that I am disputing but TBH I CBA with the hassle of it anymore - went into branch in the small town where I work and guess what they said I couldnt pay it because I had defaulted on overdraft - so I asked how do I pay the outstanding amount then - the 12 year old behind the counter said ( just repeated really) I couldnt pay because I had defaulted.......... !!!!!!?? So I suggested to her in that case I wasnt going to pay at all and she said I had to so I pushed money back over counter and she said she couldnt accept it. I give up.

So glad I had already written to FOS

What a total piece of absolute nonsense with Santander. That would drive me insane too. Where on earth is the logic?

Hang in there Igamogam. At least you had the £100 to attempt to pay it. ;)

Weekend now starts - DD1 home for weekend ( mammoth washing machine session then;)). DD2 in orchestra practice most of Saturday then going to see a Battle of the Bands event. And there is a little matter of a battle on the Rugby pitch tomorrow with divided loyalties in the house. Doubt if my team will win - they are playing pants! Just hope OH is not too smug......not a chance :)

Have a list as long as my arm for the weekend. Off to find something from freezer for meal tonight ( Oh how I would love just to pick up the phone and order it.........) Need another quick look at finances too just to see how much we have got left before paypay- booger all I should think:eek:

Another £20 to garage for fixing head lamps on car - I have been driving around with all ( mega dazzle) or nothing so it had to be done OH said he could do it ( more than competent) but when? So I decided it had to go to garage. They informed OH that one headlamp needs adjusting - what? The one they adjusted to get through MOT 2 months ago?? OH didnt challenge it :mad:. What is it with men.

Anyway OH in major grump - because the ref got it wrong didnt he:o So it looks I get choice of arm chair and which cat to score a try with in the final - oops!;)
