All OK with hospital - I'm good for another 12 months
And then if still no change I can go onto 5 yearly scans:j Scans dont bother me its the fag of having a 200 mile+ round trip a day off work for OH and me, the expense - diesel, car parking, tolls etc and just the month long wait when the appointment letter arrives with all the what if questions lurking.
Finances not as rosy as I thought..............my fuel CC usually paid in full every month got missed ( in that I made less than the full payment) in November and a little leaned on in December and is now unacceptably higher than I planned:mad: will have to work on that one.
Eb*y sales looking good and I am going to get rid of a load of books/CDs/DVDs on Zapper - wont yield much buts it a de cluttering exercise more than anything.
Have got back into swimming but really need to upgrade my membership. A gentle start so far with 40 lengths clocked this week.
Housework running away with me again and I have a busy weekend getting stuff sorted for work and doing some admin for a charity I volunteer with.
Payday will not come a moment too soon next week - I will be able to swish into my new CU account some money as per the weekly saving thread and properly plan some budgets.
Meal plans have worked well and I have really stuck to them - freezers looking more organised as are general food store cupboards.Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Did the 2 place shop today - oh I hate any sort of shopping so going to TWO places for grocery shopping just leaves me cold! I went to Ald! first as I am still trying to 'get it' - the Ald! thing. Spent about £24 on fruit and veg and I do like their cubed ham and parma ham. Sorry cant buy the meat in Ald! - have tried it and wasnt very happy. Took my receipt to T*sco and as I went round did check what I had saved - just shy of £3 maybe. Not really sure if its worth it from a time and diesel point of view. Anyway did the T*sco shop and was given a £2.83 voucher off next shop by self zap checkout assistant as she b*llsed up the random service check - they re supposed to throw them but she said I was very patient - it was her lucky day;) Bill here about £60. I bought mince off butcher counter rather than pre packed as its £1 per kilo less this way and also had ham sliced at deli counter as again its about third cheaper than buying pre packed.............I doubt very much if people know that! Once we are back on an even keel ( pay days not 6 weeks apart!) and freezers run down a bit more. I am going back to monthly butchers trips to family butcher in small town on my home, and freezing - so much better and cheaper - well we find we eat less meat this way.
Right going to try and make one room habitableBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Electricity been on and off most of today - so as a precaution we have kept the computer off until it looked liked it was back to stay - got on with a few other things but had planned to get all next weeks work planning done in one fell swoop this afternoon but twas not possible. So last 3 hours has been spent trying to get it done - also cooked a stonking ( if I say so myself) meatballs with HM sauce and pasta - not on the plan but meatballs were on offer and they are one of a few things out T*sco stocks form a local supplier ( he is probably underpaid!). Thought I would put them in freezer but luckily didnt. Anyway it was very nice and quick to do. OH been bread making all day - solid fuel Ag* so dont need electric;) Kitchen is a minor bomb site................... good job bread tastes good:rotfl:
Payday next week:j Cant wait...........Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

I have damaged my rotational cuff - think thats right:mad: The bit which top of arm rotates in basically. Tendons inflamed and both elbows and wrists now developed tendinitis - How?? doing my bl**dy job.Tonight I feel I really dont get paid enough. I have suggested at work that this needs logging...............stony ground covered in tumble weed doesnt come near describing the non response. Will put thinking hat on as this is not going to forgotten about. Too cross at moment to think about anything elseBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Have found your diary! Will follow if I may
Great news about your scan result, but ouch on the latest news. Definitely needs to go further, you can't go on like that
Got a cheque coming from Zapper for £24.08, they did reject 1 book and apparently need to repair a DVD or it's box, so they reduced value by 10p. But very pleased and a good stack of stuff gone.
Having easy desk access back and being able to sit properly again at it has helped my back (had op 10 years ago and it'll never be perfect) and I've saved £80 not needing to see the Osteo in December or January. Might be coincidental timing, but happy, nonetheless
Hope things improve with you, sounds very painful.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Sort of goes with the territory.................:o problem is that most of staff dont have relevant training only 4 out of 15 of us do so its left to us to do the necessary...................which is the thrust of my argument. Will take it up again with powers that be.
Money front: got my 10p off a litre of fuel at T*sco today:) all the vouchers etc that I use I will add up and pay the savings made off The Debt. Will tot up January's savings tomorrow night and record it as a PAD:). Also throw a few Eb*y sales in so should be a nice extra boost to the debt reduction:TBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
