OMG as predicted a bucket day! I am exhausted and battered black and blue:eek:
However I am still sticking to the debt busting hobby - will be updating spending diary later, shuffling round a bit of money to 0% deals and I resisted the urge to dive into crisps and dips( my weakness) which I would have happily blown £3/4 on that comfort after a day like today.Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Another Eb*y sale:j Must remember to 'keep 10 items on at all times'..............one of the 2014 goals that hopefully will help with the debt and the clutter busting.
Looking at bank account this morning and I definitely have had a mind shift - only a few months ago I would slip into the available 3K permanent overdraft and not bat an eye lid knowing whatever it was would be replaced on payday. Now I am looking at the credit balance and thinking how can I stretch that out until payday.......admittedly I may have to fall into to it a couple of days before but I certainly dont see the overdraft as 'my money' any more.
Long list today......must get on:DBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

I was delighted with the fiver - went straight to debt repayment - girl at checkout was surprised I wasn't buying a raft of scratch cards with it. "Well you might put a few noughts after it" she said ( actually she said O's and had I been in a pedantic teacher mood I would have pointed out they would have to be zeros or I would accept noughts.............but I wasn't, so she got off:))
The overdraft thing is mad - my bank offer me every now and then to increase it.........I politely turn them down.Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Avoiding doing what I ought to be doing so lurking on here for a minute or two whilst I let my bacon and lettuce sandwich settle - bacon and bread roll from freezer of course;) Will be having a thick/chunky HM chicken soup made with more stuff from freezer/stores, tonight.
My aim is to do about 3 hours of work planning for next week. Make soup. Prep Monday tea for slow cooker over night. Help DD2 make cake - first part made already. Spend about 20 mins on my debt busting hobby. Shuffle a few papers and then hopefully by 8.30 I will feel I am in top of things and will settle down with the last of the Christmas Ba!leys and watch Sherlock
Best laid plans and all that...........................Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi
