I bought 6 of these today - charged 2 for £3 but sel said 3 for £2, so paid £9.00 for 6 - should have been £4.00, so £5.00 overcharged and with dtd = £10.00 back to me!
It did take the 2 staff quite a while to work it out - originally he said 'so we owe you £1.00 '!!! but eventually he got there.

    I love these glitches.:j
  • got 3 ang got paid £1 to take them away! thank you!

I had an extremely grumpy CS person. She kept saying that it had been displayed wrongly so it should havebeen 2 for£3 but i insisted that the very reason i had bought thenm was the way that they had been displyed, Think she was going to give me £3 back until I saisd sweetly "so that means it's £6 back then, I think...but i'm so poor at maths..."

Bought 3 got 4 pound back. Said had already taken 1 pound off as paid 5 pounds. This is my first time, need more practice. Also glitch on magazines in seven sisters. Refused to give me double. What's a male trout called??? He lied and said policy changed. Didn't know how to prove him wrong.

Going to call customer services and make a complaint. A day of lessons I think.

  • I got mine too 3 pies for free and £1 for my trouble.

The CS lady looked like she had actually been sucking the lemons that went in the pies when she realised I was right n she was wrong n she nearly exploded when I reminded her about DTD, aww bless!

thanks op you are a legend!!

i got 6 in one store and 6 in another, one CS assistant tried to wiggle her way out of DTD and said it doesn't apply when there's a system error:rotfl:obviously I was having none of that

second store gave me DTd without me asking, she needed some help with the maths though:A

lady behind me with blonde curly hair also getting DTD on same meringues, was too shy to ask if she was a friend of martins:o

anyway i have shared them all amongst family and freinds, all very grateful,

I did on the Denby, got £67 cash but only paid £61.XX as I used coupons, depends on the store I suppose ?
  • Got 12 of these myself today in separate stores/transactions to maximise DTD. Cheers, OP!
