It's pretty straightforward. Assuming pies cost £2 each and you go to buy 3. If the offer went through as "advertised" as 3 for £2 then total = £2.
If offer goes through as 2 for £3 and you buy 3 cost = £3 (for 2) + £2 = £5.
Overcharge = £3. DTD = £6.
Total cost = -£1 and free pies!!
Obviously this only works if the SEL says 3 for £2
It's only a game

If they do it correctly for example if you take the 6 i purchased
6 x Lemon Meringue Pies @ £2.00 each = £12
less discount of 2 for £3 = £3
Total paid = £9
but the SEL says 3 for £2 so i should have paid £4 making an overcharge of £5 so DTD = £10 back only my SA gave me £12A home is not a home ..... without a dog0 -

could someone just do me a break down of the maths, how on earth are cs going to work it out, as we know that they are not the brightest of people
Buy 6 should be £4 (3for£2) instead you get charged £9 as the deal of 2 for £3 kicks in.
You have been overcharged by £5 so you should get £10 DTD making a £1 profit.MSE- The Glitchhikers guide to the galaxy0 -
