I did the same. There was no saving really if I had to have the cards delivered to me and then forward them on. Can't believe that you cannot select a date for postage. Moonpig and Funky pigeon are so much better although Clintons has the nice touch of personalising the back of the card too.
I'd say a good deal if you want the cards hand delivered, otherwise it is more complicated than Funky Pigeon for the same price.
Just so people know this is the reply I had from Clinton's regarding the depcified postage date: "
The service you are after is in testing at the moment. We are currently experiencing technical IT problems therefore at the moment this facility is not available."
Thanks though OP.0 -
Has anybody received their cards yet and how long did it take. I ordered cards 3 days ago and according to my account they are still 'processing'.
edited to say - account still says processing but the cards actually arrived today. Good price but i'm still not too keen on the site. Don't like the fact that you can't 'see' the cards after you have ordered them.Dream as if you'll live forever - live as if you'll die today0 -
Thanks OP, just managed to get my three, after being constantly knocked back yesterday...... so off to my mam's now to order some for her:)

It's a good offer but Clinton's website truly sucks, i've spent hours trying to order and personalise cards (on 3 different computers) without any luck.0

I thought this might be good for ordering cards to give my husband for our anniversary, his birthday and Yule, as I'm semi-housebound and can only go into town if he's there to push my wheelchair (which makes buying cards for him kinda difficult:D) but having just wasted an hour trying to get it to take my instructions for the personalisation of the first card, only for it to fail to appear in my basket, I'm throwing in the towel.:(
I can't get the whole screen to show - this may be because I'm using the netbook, as I'm lying down (not having a good day today). May try again on the pc if I feel better another day; but on the whole, I'm not terribly impressed with the Clintons website; it's slow, awkward to navigate, and doesn't seem to work as expected.:(
I may well revert to my usual method of creating the cards myself, with Microsoft Publisher:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I think MSE need to remove "this deal is popular with forumites" from the article that the newsletter linked!0

Thanks OP. I do agree that the site is not as good as funkypigeon or moonpig. I percevered to get a personalised yoda card though as the recipient will be nuts for it.0
