Right im off for a HHC at 9am

Pigpen that salt water worked wonders on my sheet last night, i left it soaking overnight in cold water after id used cold salt water and it seems to have disappeared. thanks

See.. not as daft as I look!!!
Well, that was silly. Just as well I found the appointment letter before we left. Minion's physio is actually 2.00pm, not 9.30am. I mixed it up with my podiatry appt's time (in a fortnight). I always mix times up/forget them/have to phone and find out when they are/grovel for rebooking rather than discharge when they are mine and not hers, despite having them written down.

unlike me who doesnt remmber my own appointments at all then is really angry with stupid self for days after!

aj and holly hope all the packing and moving goes smoothly, enjoy your new homes. When we moved last year we got the removal company to pack everything, 1 man did it all the day before moving, nothing got broken or lost, I think it cost approx an extra £50 for them to do it and was worth every penny not to have the stress of packing.

I like this idea but it is too late now...maybe next time.

Got up as DH (keep writing OH by mistake) went to work. So far I have

    Showered and had breakfast
S & S kitchen and bathroom (hope that way it will be easier on Friday)
Been to buy some oven cleaning stuff, not the stuff I wanted but this should work
Paid balance on new bed being delivered on Friday
Currently packing the first of the kitchen boxes.

Off I go to do more packing.

  • How is DD JoJo? Been MIA and missed how she has been getting on re scoliosis.

It appears to be muscular rather than structural at present, no bony deformity (a rather sculptural curve sideways, not twisting at present :j), so she's been referred for urgent physiotherapy in the hope that it can be dealt with straight away. She's also on regular review because she hasn't started her teenaged growth spurt/periods yet (they said it's very important to be doing stuff before her periods start). She's got her first physio this afternoon and the consultant said that the next stage after this would be bracing.

There's a whole conversation about her FW of a father stating that she isn't allowed to have bracing and she would just have to learn to live with it rather than embarrass him by looking like a cripple, but I think I've already done that one to death on here....FWIW, we have decided that he is going to be summarily ignored on all matters health related :)

Flying in bathroom and start on living room list
complete OH's medical form and post it with sicknote
phone job centre to ask about OH's sickness benefit claim
talk to DS1 about his plans (college/work)
collect OH's prescriptions from chemist to take back to GP
    visit friends down the road
go to GP appt with OH
    [STRIKE]check Avon catalogue[/STRIKE]
    take out-of-date meds to chemist
phone council for new bin (lid is now completely broken) £15 delivery  Have texted OH to see if we can collect it. Not sure it will fit in car.
[STRIKE]take DS2 to get his hair cut by OH (if he's at work long enough)[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]nag[/STRIKE] encourage DS1 to tidy the space at the bottom of his stairs
research home insurance - I missed the renewal date due to OH's illness and the holiday. 40% increase on monthly payments despite no claims! If I can find it at the old price or cheaper somewhere else it will be worth the £26 cancellation fee.

Currently sorting out various parcel delivery cards we found when we came back on Saturday. One lot is now accounted for, but I don't know if the parcel I received this morning is the same one the two cards are for. I'll try the post office again. :(ETA There are two parcels waiting, in addition to the one that came this morning. I wonder if I'll now have 3 wireless routers... (rolls eyes at talktalk incompetence).

Thats great news so far JoJo:T
Tell FW to knob off! Brace isnt too bad actually, you just need to be careful what you buy clothes wise. You get pretty adept at disguising it. Most people wouldn't know DD wore one, except the wretched child that punched her and hurt his hand:rotfl:

And mine! I haven't even started on the house (i.e. repairs, decorating, updating etc)

I will! Going to get washed and dressed, mainly because I'm cold. ;) Not sure what I'll tackle first, then. Probably DW and WM for starters.
