Ironing done, do like to start the new week with an empty basket.

    Aim for this week is:

to keep on top of all the hard work from last week
finish deep cleaning the family room
get on top of some paperwork
    sort boys school shoes
    hand sewing and clothes labelling

I need to have a bit of a meal plan too but my mind is blank at the moment and the freezer and cupboards quite bare. Boys have dentist appointment tomorrow.

I think I will let them get on with it.

Wish my ironing basket was empty;)

    Nice win Jo!

Vanilla - Continuing love, support, coping and BD shooing away vibes. You have so much support here it really restores my faith in human nature.

    Reading done.

DH picked a fight with the wasp nest in the compost bin. The wasps won. He has been stung on face, hand, wrist, stomach and back. He is a twit in alot of pain. Fortuantely I am well stocked with anti-histamine etc from the mozzy bite on my knee that is still giving me trouble 10 days on.

We are looking after a friend's dog. So far I have been treating it's sticky eye with boiled water and cotton wool. Now I think it's got an ear infection, very red and she keeps scratching it and shaking her head. Therefore more cotton wool and water with oil of cloves invused in it. This is harder than newborn babies (and I've had a few of them;)) I admire you with youf ease of coping with Ted Lamewolf!

Goodnight all. I'm off to bed to rub more anti-histimaine into DH's stings.
