Cheapest place to book a charter flight?

I'm wanting to fly Manchester - Larnaca (cyprus) for a week this friday, and there is a charter flight from 'Fly Hellas' going on those days. One cannot book direct with the airline because I understand its chartered to Olympic holidays, but I can book a seat on it with various travel agents it would seem - the cheapest of which seems to be through Olympic itself at £255 (now anyway), but I have to clear my cookies each time and pretend to be a 'new' visitor or it goes up if I return. Anywhere else I should be looking? I've already tried Haystravel, Holiday Hypermarket to name a couple...

try on charterflights.co.uk you can book online there but doubt you will get a cheaper price as it is so close to departure

Already tried there - £280, but thanks. :) Is it likely to only get more expensive the sooner it gets?

£255 for the most expensive week of the year, from an airport with limited availability? It's a good price so if you really must travel on Friday, no holding out for a better deal, then go with that.

If the entire flight is chartered for Olympic Holidays then the cheapest place to book it will be with Olympic direct.

No-one will be selling it cheaper than direct with the operator, as all other agents will be looking to make a bit on top of Olympic's base price.

Chances are it is if the MAN airport website only shows Olympic. Although airport websites are never 100% accurate for charters, I don't know of any other company using FlyHellas this summer so yes I'd agree its an Olympic only flight.

Booked it today for £255 from directline holidays on the phone (couldn't get through to Olympic). Only when I got home and looked online did I see that Olympic are now doing it for £245. Never mind....

Hmm, well, the flight was over 3 hours late on the way there, as I half expected. We were given meal vouchers as entitled but it was for a measly £4. More to the point I therefore missed the buses to get where I was going and had to get a taxi which cost a fortune. If I write an angry letter have I any chance of compensation? The return remains to be seen...
