    A shame

and i thought you as a legal professional would have the ability to take each issue on its merits and not allow your opinions of said specific issues to be coloured by your general opinion of the person raising them.

that would after all be legally ethical, wouldnt it?

You're not paying her to be 'legally ethical'!* :rotfl:

Why don't you trust the solicitor you're using?

    *whatever that means!

Quite a climb down from your earlier guarantee of a new backdated agreement enabling you to take legal action against them. They are obviously not as stupid as you think.

So whilst this ensures any future initial reference will stick to the agreement, any request for additional information, around disciplinary action etc, will be rejected by you which for me would ring alarm bells.

However, you have what you wanted in the first place so that in itself is a positive.

rejected by me? do you mean by them?

they are going to pay me compensation anyway so I don't mind the backdated element at this point.

    you know what i mean

and i just like others opinions thats all.
  • What right have you got to be demanding other people be legally ethical when I have spent the last week looking at posts from you about how you are trying to screw over a previous employer who you got sacked from for the most petty, immature and ridiculous reasons? You have employed a solicitor, either trust their advice or get another one. Why do you want other opinions? Are you waiting until the one you agree with turns up and you will trust that opinion?

and thats the real reason why im bothered, because i dont feel the issues in themselves warranted the kind of action that was taken. as they were as you rightly claim, petty. not then, and certainly not now when im trying to rebuild my career.
