A guy who decides to build an opera house against insurmountable odds and at a terrible cost to others
my point is some things of lasting value have only been achieved at cost. If some people happen to feel uncomfortable as a result then so be it.

So you would rather enslave innocent natives in pursuit of a mass folly than get on with your life. Right.

    I'm out :)

mass folly? your opinion and certainly not mine. but at any rate. yes, yes i would. i prefer to view it as one mans vision.

some people at the very top of organisations are complete sociopaths, indeed may have to have been in order to get where they are.

    Not gay or female!

Funnily enough the argument in the pub was with a guy over a woman.
I thought better of using my fists due to the possible consequences actually. We were separated from hitting each other and I was told to go home which I did. Got pulled up on the Monday about it.

Your employer knows exactly who you are as you have complained to them recently about the reference under the CA

How many of the million people using these message boards do you think work for a public sector employer large enough to have all the departments you mention?

Do you think you are bringing the company into disrepute with your words about them? You are not subtle with your opinions.

I think YOU are in breach of the CA.

i told you ive changed facts and details of my situation to avoid detection - e.g did i work for them for 9 years, or 16? or a different period of time altogether? did i even work in the public sector? did i really work in hr given my lack of knowledge of employment law (of which my case has very little to do with i might add!)
  • and i still would like an 'hr expert' to clarify what a standard hr position would be on disclosure of 'spent' disciplinaries?

would they be allowed to respond to questioning as if the disciplinary had never taken place?

if yes i could get this written into the letter of assurance.

    The answer is no.

Disiciplinary penalties are never truly spent. They can always be taken into account in future proceedings and cited as part of a request for factual information about the employee's disciplinary record.

well clearly they are removed from file after they are 'officially' spent, that much is clear.

i could therefore get the letter to say on request for information on the employees disciplinary record the organisation shall respond that 'there are no records of any disciplinaries on the employees file' which would be true and not forcing the company to utter a lie as some have claimed i have.
  • You have been told they are NOT spent. It is not 3 points on your licence or a D&D charge.
