A last point - where you work are disciplinaries kept on file for ever and ever? Is there a point at which they are removed from file?
Yes - Depends on the level of warning given.
Bye now.Go round the green binbags. Turn right at the mouldy George Elliot, forward, forward, and turn left....at the dead badger0 -

good
because my only official warning had expired by the time the job offer was made
therefore they *should* (possibly?) have denied, yes?
or at least responded to any questions about misconduct, as if the disciplinary had never taken place.0 -
I ask again, what was your role in HR?Science adjusts its views based on what's observed.
Faith is the denial of observation, so that belief can be preserved.

i didnt do advisory work as you can probably gather!
Neither was I a stamp licker though!
In fact the job I applied for and offered was a 50k a year job which shows you I was not a low graded employee!
OK I'll come clean I was in training and development.0 -

Why not go for something different, like nightclub bouncer.
I still think you must be a woman though.0 -
Post 70 – “The Employee will refrain from passing any adverse comments regarding the organisation or any of its employees (past or present) and/or taking part in any conduct conducive or potentially conducive to bringing the organisation into disrepute. Should the Employee breach the confidentiality clause the Employer reserves the right to publicise factual corrections.”
What are the odds of anyone you worked with not knowing who you are from post 167?
“ok there were 2 disciplinary issues, one pending before i left.
me and the rest of my small team got transferred to the IT department from the HR department where I worked.
the first disciplinary was at a works social event where i ended up throwing a drink twice over a work colleague who worked in HR. for that i received a written warning.
a re-organisation then occured where my post was deleted - i felt i was being picked on because of my disciplinary and i then got nailed before i left for contacting one of the people involved at the works event that i was not supposed to - emailing her and bad mouthing several people in HR - where i used to work before the transfer.
that was the pending disciplinary.
i got out via a CA which the employer agreed to.
the it department and the hr department both come under the resources department which also includes the legal department - the director of resources overall who is my ultimate manager is a lawyer who works in legal. that is why she can and did instruct her lawyers to immedietly write a CA and will do so again if it needs amendment.”
We know you worked in one of the groups T&D functions
Your employer knows exactly who you are as you have complained to them recently about the reference under the CA
How many of the million people using these message boards do you think work for a public sector employer large enough to have all the departments you mention?
Do you think you are bringing the company into disrepute with your words about them? You are not subtle with your opinions.
I think YOU are in breach of the CA.Debt free 4th April 2007.
New house. Bigger mortgage. MFWB after I have my buffer cash in place.0 -

Funny, I thought the opposite. Maybe I'm wrong but..
The forcefulness and almost aggression in the comments says man to me.
The OP's absolute confidence in being right and apparent belief that everyone should bend to what he wants..even if it means lying..also says man to me.
Don't get me wrong, I love men...but in my experience, women are better at seeing both sides of an argument and recognizing when they're wrong.
But, on ther other hand..the person who snitched to the OP's new employer...it's so underhand, my instinct says it's more likely to be the sort of thing a woman would do.0 -
I do not think a man would throw a drink over someone. That is a very female thing.0

My favourite film is fitzcaraldo:))
A guy who decides to build an opera house against insurmountable odds and at a terrible cost to others
my point is some things of lasting value have only been achieved at cost. If some people happen to feel uncomfortable as a result then so be it.0
