no comment would allow them to call me a liar?
how?
As I have stated several times now, if someone came to me and said "is it true that x has done so-and-so" and I know they have, and say "no comment" I would expect that to be taken that it is true...DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244

I know you are angry/disappointed and I understand that. The fly in your ointment was this person who stuck their nose in and caused you trouble, and you/your ex employers were put in an awful position because of them.
I promise you, you will incur costs you just can't pay if you pursue your ex employers over this.
Move on. Either job-hunt in a different area or industry. Learn from your past mistakes, treat people with respect and just be honest. Lies always catch up with people and like your prospective employer said - it's not what you did, it's the fact that you lied about that was the problem. Everyone makes mistakes but we learn from them and move on. Realise that what you did was wrong and vow to grow up and not behave like that again!! Pursuing this ridiculous claim is just compounding this mistake and keeping that "attitude" going. Take responsibility for what you did and move on. Honestly, you'll be much happier if you do.
disagree with the part in bold. the minute they confirmed disciplinary issues with new employer was the minute they broke their end of the deal.
look the likelihood of me going to court is virtually nil.
i dont feel the moral need turn my life upside down and retrain to do something else just because one or two individuals cant keep their mouths shut.
thats why im hoping that this letter will send some kind of warning to the people working there to play by the rules or else.
you believe that a no comment would have screwed me anyway - i dont - and thats the difference between your point of view and mine. nothign else.0 -

Of course the likelihood of going to court is virtually nil - you have no case.
did you play by the rules when you physically assaulted a colleague by throwing drink at them twice, or when you sent malicious emails regarding your ex colleagues? No, or you wouldn't have faced disciplinary charges.
What goes around comes around.
We clearly will never agree and I have sincerely tried to help here. but have better things to do so I will wish you luck with whatever course you choose and say bye and take care.DMP Mutual Support Thread member 244

Stop telling porkies then.
the 'truth' would get me nowhere anyway
look im never going to get my job back, if they do pay out even some amount then at least if it happens next time i will know where i stand with them.
as i said it only takes one person to write a letter that binds the organisation and one person to make a payout.0
