When I was wee, it was on every year. I still love it, tho looking back, it's a bit weird :rotfl: :rotfl:

Wizard of Oz used to give me nightmares :rotfl:

Much prefer - What a Wonderful Life, Polar Express, The Grinch, Christmas with the Kranks and of course White Christmas :).
  • I've got just about every Xmas film you can imagine on DVD - but they are mostly still in their wrapping!!! The TV does a good selection of films in the run up to Xmas and I like to watch them on the TV. My husband thinks Im bonkers but I like the thought of watching a Xmas film on TV knowing that other families all over the country are watching it too - is that crazy?

I don't think it is crazy, in fact I think it is a lovely sentiment. If one of my faves is on tv I have to watch it too, even if I have the DVD.
  • Just to let you know, I bought Christmas DVDs in the Tesco sale yesterday - Muppet Christmas Carol for £4 and Elf for £4. I don't know if it's at every store, but might be worth a try. I've been looking for the muppet one online for the last few weeks and nowhere was as cheap as that.

They also had Polar Express for £5 and the modern version of Miracle on 34th Street for £5.
  • I know they have already been mentioned but as a family we always watch Jingle all the way and Home Alone every Christmas without fail!! Kids love them!
If we see Home Alone on any other time of year we can't watch it :)
A small Thank You can make a BIG difference ;)

Definitely, without a single doubt, 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation'. Makes me laugh and laugh and laugh every time I watch it.

Same here. I honestly don't know how many times I've watched it over the years and I still laugh like it's the first time :rotfl:

Also love Elf, Miracle On 34th Street (the remake), Home Alone 1&2, Love Actually...

What a dangerous thread to walk in to.

    Jingla all the way
    Home alone 1 + 2
    Miracle on 34th street
Scrooge (well the one with patrick stewart in not sure what its called but it is about scrooge!)

Never seen Elf and by the looks of it im pretty freakish in this and am clearly missing out, will get it from blockbuster on sunday!
