    Evening all!

On the train home from Glasgow. It's delayed so will miss my connection, so staying on an extra stop for a direct on back to town.

Grandpa is okay, but frail. I burst into tears after I left him at the hospital much to the alarm of a junior doctor in the lift with me.

Had a good day with my gran yesterday. Got 2 jumpers and a top for £6! My gran treated me to a gorgeous bag and matching purse.

Just want to get home and see my OH and puppy. I took tomorrow off with the intention of spending the day with OH at his work. But he said no earlier, feeling a bit rejected by him at the moment..

Will catch up on the thread, hugs to all who want/need them xx

    Good Afternoon All

My 3 day birthday has continued today with lunch here. Delicious, and a total surprise as I did not know where I was going, and DS had also invited my good friend and his other Godmother along to join us. Not sure if we will want any tea!!

Yes Adelight I have managed to book us in as a group, which has saved about £30.

    Take care all. DG

Hello everybody....have thanked nobody to-night as when I tried page rolled back to beginning.Glad that the birthday girls have had a good time.....my DS3 will be 33 to-morrow so we are taking him, DGS1 and DDIL2 out for dinner....Its been rather a nice day to-day, not warm but more pleasant than of late, did another line of clothes, was rather late when they went out so will leave them until to-morrow afternoon to take inDid very little to-day, picked a few tomatoes and peas, dwarf beans should be ready to start delivering in a few days, really looking forward to them as they are a favourite all year round.Dinner was ham I cooked yesterday, with some leftover cabbage and a turnip (swede), potatoes we bought last week are really lovely, only trouble is that I need butter on them which is expensive from a money point of view and not great for bringing down the weight.Hugs to all who are in need or want of one, welcome to newbies, congratulations to anyone celebratingMarie
