Morning all,
Jackie O have a great time xx
DG very glam
Looks like a nice day here, got our bedding in the wm, will get it on the line in a while, OH gone out to boot sale, should be back in a mo, we then need to spend the day chipping more paint off (yawn), we will hopefully get it all off today, I then need to sit and order some other bits and bobs online, we did go out yesterday, but OH was shocked at the prices in the diy shops, we looked on line when we got home, and something in the shop was £9 and online was £1.50, so need to order all the plumbing bits, and a new light fitting and light pull.
Dinner today is jacket spuds with han cheese and salad, that way I can just shove them in the oven and forget about them.
Went to see dad yesterday, he was on good form, but still trying to escape, he does not understand that he has to lay still to allow his leg to heal, will go back tomorrow.
OK better get on, have good days all xx0 -

Morning All,
Not been in the mood for posting, but I have been reading. Hope JackieO has a great holiday, and lots of opportunity to spend the ice cream money. Belated birthday wishes for Elona :bdaycake: Donny-Gal your day out sounds lovely :A
I have a sponge cake in the oven, and bread proving too. Did my food shop yesterday and went £20 over budget, some price rises are  and some things were bargain grabbing on multibuys. Kids are back at school on Wednesday so I needed packed lunch things, and snack stuff - DS1 doesn't want to take HM cakes and things in until he sees what the other kids are doing at the High School. I forgot all about that whole trying to fit in thing that teens do.Makes me quite sad that he will be missing his favourites just so he "fits in".
Plan for the day, we are off to buy them school shoes and a bag for DS1. Washing is going out shortly, and the floors need a clean.
Have a good day everyone, stay safe.

Hi BB, I did get an apology about the letter & their daughter was told in no uncertain terms that if I stopped feeding the cat because of her rudeness then she would have to drive twice everyday next time they went away, lol.

Hi all,
not been on here since Friday and haven't caught up yet, been so busy having DM and her OH, I made DGD's b/day cakes in the form of 18, on my last post I said it was her 21st, just glad I remembered my mistake before I baked the cakes. Wrapped her pressies and given the cakes to DH to take to her party. I cant go because I am full of cold and ache all over, I'm staying home as DD1 & DGD1 don't want to catch what I have, feel like a Leper.
We have loads of bolognaise left over so will just have to cook some taglettele (sp) for dinner tonight. Don't feel up to doing much.
(((hugs))) to all who need one, off to catch up now.0 -
Good Morning (just )
I have just got up again for the second time today. Really hoping that my sleep patterns return to normal soon but feel so much better that Im not complaining really.
We got the doggies back yesterday which made my family whole again. They needed a good wash and their bedding has been through the washer too. Back to mount washmore now and Kids Dad has done the ironing. Cooking chicken in bacon for tea tonight as Ds1 and DD at work again.
Welcome to Sandie xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Morning All
Have been up since 6.00am and have done 4 loads of washing already the first lot was on the line at 7.30am
I will strip the covers off of the settee and get them washed in a mo.
Guess what - I found the zapper this morning just as I put the first load out. I reached into the peg bag and there it was
DH just rolled his eyes and called me a dappy baggage - well I do have 2 peg bags because I have 2 washing lines and it just had to be in the one that I didn't use yesterday ooooops :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Welcome SadieB
Have a great holiday JackieO x
JackieG I have been going over budget this month as well - probably because of days out and getting bits for Christmas, plus a huge phone bill and most of that was line rental  , the cost of diesel is scandalous especially when you realise that two thirds of what we pay at the pump is duty and vat  so it must be having a knock on effect on food prices.
I must pull my reins in next month big time.
Well I must get the dinner on
have good days all xBlessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light
