I didn't realise that but I confirmed you are right, T-Mobile charge for accessing your own voicemail! What a horrible hidden charge, I didn't know about it and I got my fiancee a T-Mobile contract (I guess she doesn't call voicemail much, but that's not the point).

I have confirmed that TalkMobile do not charge for accessing voicemail: https://www.talkmobile.co.uk/voicemail.html

If you do join TalkMobile, make sure you go through Topcashback to get your £45.45 cash back.

Just been looking at the reviews on TopCashBack (~which I have just signed up to) about TalkMobile and they are not very good at all with phones not turning up, cashback not being paid, etc, etc, - is anything straightforward , oh I will order the phone soooooon from somewhere lol :)

A 'bolt on' for £2.13 a month gives you unlimited voicemail.

    Haha, nothing is simple!

If you look on Topcashback at reviews of Orange, they are very bad too and it's probably true of most mobile phone companies I suppose. Take the deal that is best for you and hope it works out. :)

Disgraceful from T-Mobile. They don't make that clear when buying a phone do they?! I thought free voicemail came as standard. Perhaps one for OFCOM to sort out.

TBH its no different from data not coming 'as standard' with some smartphone contracts out there at the moment!

My sister's just suggested Tesco - look at their costs for contract phones -

    Hopefully I can post a link -

    http://phone-shop.tesco.com/tesco-mobile/help-and-support/call-charges-paym-handset.aspx

Voicemail again!!! I just think all the extra charges in there just going to keep mounting up......... Think I may have to bite the bullet and go for that TalkMobile deal..........

He he, not quite yet though, after my tea later I will decide.
