Cash buyers/Investors, how to find them?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows how we could find property investors, We need a quick sale and would like to look into this route but dont really know where to start.
I have looked online but cant seem to find what I am looking for.
Could we walk into an estate agents and ask if they have any on their books?
I have been advertising online for a cash buyer/investor but nothing came of it, I did get a lot of time wasters though, as in people saying they wanted to view and then not turning up, people telling me they wanted my house but then strung me along, and people emailing me then never getting back to me etc.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Thank you.

Why don't you just put it up for sale with an estate agent at a really keen price.......and the investors will find you
I have been looking a property today and both EA told my that in the area that I am looking quite a few sell before even hitting Rightmove - not sure if I really believe them, but then again a house in my village sold in June and no-one knew it was even on the market!0 -
Or if you are that keen to find a cash buyer, you could try a property auction?0

It is up with an estate agent, but we are not getting any viewings or interest so we are trying to see if there are any other routes we can take.
I called our estate agent yesterday and he said if he was to be honest with me we havent had any interest at all since our one and only viewing in may, and he does not know why people are not coming to view etc.
He is coming out on monday to take some new pictures at my request.
We have looked into auctions but we just dont have the money to give to them to advertise it, as if the house doesnt sell we wouldnt get the money back or so i believe?
The house is under valued, according to our estate agent, was valued by three estate agents for between 128-130k, we put it up for 120k, reduced to 115k and we are going to be reducing again soon if nothing happens, we have to move 250 miles away in just over a month so we are both worrying a little now. As a reference the house next door to us is up for 147k and has been on the market for years, and one other in the street sold recently for 140k so i dont think its the price thats putting people off.0 -
It's obviously the price, what else is there? If it's priced correctly it will sell.Thinking critically since 1996....0

The quick sale cash buyers will be brutal with the cash reduction they demand. Often they will danlge an attractive-sounding offer in front of you to draw you in and then drastically reduce it when it is too late for you to back out. They are ruthless. Much better to just reduce the price yourself and get a quick sale on the open market.poppy100

I would be in a position for a cash purchase if you're in my area...Merseyside?
Or if you're not, anyone who's around L16 or L18 or L25 needing a quick cash sale could contact me.
I'm not an investor, just been trying to purchase a house for nearly 2 years now! Seems being a cash buyer makes no difference at all as I'm still getting offers of 5% below asking price rejected.0 -
You can get a quick sale using a low price at an EA, at auction, or hoping an investor comes along and makes you an offer.
Someone who wants to make money from your home though is going to offer you less money though.0 -
Thats the problem with doing it with the estate agent, if we are already the cheapest house on the street now, will reducing the price make any difference? Our price is already 25k below what the house across the road sold for recently.
With that in mind people are not coming to view, so if we knock more off the price will it make a difference to potential viewers? I think my point is why arent they viewing now, thinking they would be saving 25k from buying ours, instead they spent 25k more and bought the other house which has nothing ours doesnt have.
So confused.
Thanks for the advice up to now, going to have to think things through a bit more I think.0
