You wot? No Way! I never get bored of seeing people's pics :D:j

Great makes, and I really love the Orca - printed background or not, it looks stunning :T imo the printed background gives a more subtle effect and makes the stitching 'pop' :)

Yey I have a number!! thanks:T:T, great inspiration seeing everyones projects.
Thanks for the heads up on the magazine subscriptions Auntie H, but I am now left with a difficult decision ladies.
If I subscribe for £5 for 5 issues then 13 at £35.99 I won't qualify for the free DMC thread box.
If I subscribe at £8.99 for 3 issues then £39.99 for 13 issues I qualify. The DMC box is RRP £26.
Hmmm decisions decisions, save money or get the free gift?!
Any ideas ladies on which would be best? Thanks in advance AMx

I think this looks a good deal if you want the box and already buy the mag august. Think I'll go for the 5 issues for £5, then cancel and wait for the box to come round again which hopefully it will. I just started and already have loads of stuff in bags and its very unorganised.

I have ordered all of the subscriptions so getting 18 mags for £20, then will just cancel them all after the £5 (unless I'm really hooked) that should keep me busy for a wee while!!
Are you allowed to do that?

I know they don't mind you cancelling after the 5 for £5, but I didn't think they'd let you have another promo?

I think you probably can TMF, I have done this a few times with Good food mag and radio times offers and they don't seem to notice. If all else fails will just take up new subscription in DH's name :D

Hello to all the other newbies :)

mrs-moneypenny - you have been busy, it's great looking at all your pics!

The magazine subscription deal looks good, I'm definitely tempted by the 5 for £5. I'm not usually too interested, when I flick I only tend to see one or two projects I'd like to have a go at, but at that price it would be worth it anyway!

I haven't been on for a couple of days, but I have made some stitchy progress. I've now done a lot of stitching on the two giraffes on African Sunset, but it still feels slow going. I can't get too inspired as it just feels like there is such a long way to go.

Hubby has announced that he likes it when I stitch as I'm very quiet and don't annoy him or pester him. I took that to mean 'go out and buy several kits with my money' :D Not sure that was quite what he meant, but close enough :rotfl:

No no, I think you are right, I'm sure all the other ladies on here would have made the same translation...we can't ALL be wrong :D:A

    Hello,
Thank you for your kind words 23rdSpiral, I shall pass them on to DD. Well she is hooked on x stitching now, she chose a kit for herself in the range the other day, its a unicorn stitch by numbers. She got it out to start it, but it may be a little advanced, I need a free minute to go through it with her, hopefully once the party is out of the way we will have a few hours to spare for it.
And you may be right Mrs Money Penny! Is 005 taken? (sorry its an in joke based on DDs favourite book called 006 and a half lol).

I have been busy this morning baking, so just need to ice them tomorrow.

Lottie is finally finished :T she needs washing and framing, but she is at least finished! So DD will have her on her birthday as requested!
