You could try asking on your local freegle/ freecycle for the CD/ record/ tape - I'll happily ask on mine too for you and post it if I get lucky.

ETA: by time i've traveled to collect/ posted this may be cheaper

I hadn't thought about freecycle, never used it before. I did have a look on ebay earlier but hadn't seen that one for £2.99 so I am gonna order that one now, cause I think the cheapest I had seen one for was about £7 :eek: And as it will be a novelty prize, there's no point spending loads on it, though I hope the person who wins it will be someone who 'gets' it, and not just some random person who happens to be in the pub for the band that is on that night lol

ETA. Bought it! Gonna email my mate Chesney to say I will provide the CD

thanks hun! will keep that in mind. a friend of mine has a ton of postage boxes that are designed for LP s and will be giving them to me (in return for specific record)
so hopefully that will be ok.
bought a TON of bubble wrap today anyways.

Soulie - I would do the full stitches (ie. the eagle) first.

You're very welcome! Glad you didn't take offence. I wish I knew years ago what I know now about the PO and how they handle things. You expect when you pay money that the parcel will be treated with care but they aren't always.

No stitching done here today. Had some ironing I wanted to get done and had some old receipts to sort.......I say some receipts......3 shoe boxes full! Hubby is a receipt hoarder.
Oldest found so far.....1991 :eek: :rotfl:

Just about to go running with local running group. Only my second week! Would rather get my stitching out .... But sure I will enjoy it!

Anyway. WOCs mag dropped through door today. How on earth are you meant to sort the brown/ gold etc coloured threads ?

If you have asked for a **wink nudge** I have requested this from the 'winners' who will hopefully contact you. Don't be downhearted if you haven't been contacted as if I've not heard from the 'winners' by this time next week I shall contact you instead.

The only one not gone is Paso Doble.....anybody want it for £16 (or to make a bid on it)......will also ask over on other facebook pages.

yes I got woxs - been trying to :doh: the margaret sherry threads (the browns)

errrrrrr i use those stabilo felt pen thingys - the fineliner ones? think a dot from them would fill in the squares.
Just ordered the evenweave from fleabay but will be a while before im [STRIKE]stupid[/STRIKE] brave enough to attempt that lol :rotfl:
