Just tried and failed to move to BT

I can't have vision tv as my upload at this address is only .5 meg (??????).
I assume you mean download?
I am 6km from the local BT exchange the most i am quoted on ADSL is 0.5meg download speeds. Used to have a fixed 1/2 meg line at one time. Later with several other providers had attenuation of 63.9db with ADSL, ADSL2+ 75db (LLU.)
Even then couldnt watcha youtube small vid on 240p.
As regards wanting to go from 2meg to 0.5 meg, the 2 meg is the capped limit bear in mind the FUP, throttling etc which could well be lower than 0.5 meg in reality.0
