monarch airline. £116 just for your suitcases

i have just booked flights with them for oct break and they have charged £36 each for allowing us to take our clothes on holiday..i thought it was just easy jet and ryanair who done this...It really peaves me off to pay this as they have you by the balls..rant over
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

    It says here that you are given a 20kg (standard) allowance for hold luggage, if yours is heavier of course there is an extra premium as stated in the above link
    It also states that there may be "charges may apply with some tour operators " So it would appear it is not Monarch who have charged you but your tour operator

    its how they make their money... this added an extra 3rd to to cost of our flight with monarch too..

    monarch charge you £18.99 EACH WAY for each 20kilo bag.. this is not part of the ticket price..... take a suitcase pay the extra... you do get 10kilo's of handluggae though...

    So did you check at time of booking whether the price included a bagage allowance?

    Thats for a charter flight - on scheduled flights they charge for hold luggage.

    OP - get savvy, it's amazing how much gear you can get in a small carry on suitcase.

    flight only..2 adults 1 child..£28 each way.....over £800 just for cheapest flights to fuerteventura..its getting worse...this is for oct when the kids are at school.
