Do you have a nearby Monsoon? Most of the summer clothes in there are 70% off.
Or as moromir suggested, buy a stretchy t-shirt type top and jazz it up with a wrap.
I totally understand how hard it is to find any dresses that suit/fit, I've a 24inch waist and 32FF boobies and find it impossible to buy dresses.
Good luck in your search but I'm sure you'll find something great.0 -
Just what I was going to say! I love these clothes - they are great, and their customer service ladies are fab. AND, they've got a sale on too! :beer:shouldstopspending wrote: »you could have a look at www.pepperberry.com - they've some lovely frocks!
Raspberry Wrap Dress - £18 (available in 8 and 10), or this one, slightly over budget at £22.50?
Bought about 5 tops from them the other week (in the sale of course!) and resisted the dresses, as I didn't have anywhere to go, only to get a save the date card for a wedding next year, and now none left in my size!"No matter how little money and how few possesions you own, having a dog makes you rich." - Louis Sabin0 -
I'm the same!
5'11", but most my height is body length, so tops are often short on me, and some dresses just look silly!
There's a TK Maxx in Oxford, and I need to go there anyway, so will call in as I think it's open until quite late most nights.
Will also try Sainsburys, and I think there's an ASDA home in Oxford too now.
Next do quite an extensive range of 'tall' clothes. Their tops in the tall range are nice and long and they have quite a few nice black ones around the £20 mark at the moment.
Just be careful if you buy online from Next though and really read their small print as they open a credit line / do a credit check or something like that if you buy.0 -
Have you tried a quick look round the local charity shops? Or even a carboot sale, if there is one near by and you have the time. Might be lucky (or not) and get something great, and cheap!

A halter neck maxi dress might be suitable - easy access for bubba and would probably look quite flattering with bigger boobs. Worth looking in the peacocks sale at the moment as they had tons of maxi dresses in over the summer.
Definitely avoid the scoop necks and strapless - nightmare for big boobs and will just make you look droopy. v necklines are the most flattering.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -

How about going to a dance shop and getting a ballet cardigan? You can adjust it, and also put a lacy vest top underneath? Would be well within you budget and reusable as well."If you see someone without a smile, give them yours.":DMiss Mona, The Best Little *****house in Texas0

Thanks for all the brilliant ideas. I'm going to go shopping tomorrow and see what I can find, and if not, I think I'll order something from Pepperberry and buy something that I can wear for work too! Never heard of it before, but it looks great!
I like the ballet cardigan idea too!
EDIT: I do quite like maxi dresses, but I need to wear my nursing bra with the dress, which at least is a black bra, but they're SO ugly!!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
