The Sun have their holidays for £9.50 starting tomorrow. I think theirs are Pontins or Haven though not Butlins. We have had a couple of breaks with them and they are value for money.
We went to Skegness Butlins last year with the Sun £9.50 holiday offer, we had a great time and I think it worked out at about £90 altogether for a family of 4 as we had to pay for the entertainment pass and the service charge ontop of the Sun price. I'm sure the Sun also had Minehead Butlins in the offer.

Edit: The Sun website has this years holiday parks listed and Minehead is there:

Edit again: Bognor Butlins is there too.

  • Butlins is UBER cheesey but I just LOVE IT!!

We have 2 small children, and my borther is 13 and I take him with us every year either to minehead or Haven at donniford as only an hour or two away from us. We normally go last minute to get the bargains, but have just applied for the sun deal as I get priority booking so another cheap holiday!

We went with my daughter, son in law and the grandkids half-board to Bognor just before Christmas, and they loved it - every minute of their day was full. :)

I would book the best accommodation you can (we went De-Luxe, which was more than ok).

The food was buffet style (basic I suppose, but just fine to eat), and you could have whatever and however much you liked.

I can't think of one negative, if you have youngish children with you.

The whole thing was geared to make sure the kids enjoy themselves.

    Lin :)

I'm gonna book for the hotel in june, for 2 nights, i'll be going the day before astons birthday so he'll have a birthday there! I'm well excited for him, he'll be 3 so will be at the age where he understands more, i'm just a bit worried he might find it boring because it will just be me and him.

£9.50 holidays to cover butlins but s/c only. food onsite is quite expensive, so unless you mwanna cook for the weekend generally there food isnt bad plenty of choice and its not to much dearer.

I LOVE BUTLINS, we go twise a year. i usually pay no more than £150 for 4 days H/B with partner and lil un.

    I would really reccomend.
