Hi John T, most airline tickets won are non transferrable. Nor would you be able to compare prices on general sale. The simple reason is that airlines have a very limited amount of seats that can be used for "free tickets". These are normally the once going first, and fares you are referring to, does not really give you any idea of availability. You might be lucky and Virgin allows you to transfer the prize for genuine reasons, so always worth asking:)

How many competitions do you enter a day ? (do you set yourself a daily target ?)

I guess I am after some insight on what I could be doing better ... as 2 months on of entering competitions every day - I have won nothing, zero, b****r all, zilch - you get the picture :rotfl:

Not even an Avon win !

I only started at the end of February & most of my wins have come through in the last few weeks. I wondered why I'd not won anything for ages and really just brought it down to the fact that some hadn't even ended yet & that you have to give the promotors time to allocate prizes, send them out etc etc..

I roughly enter all competitions posted on here, I very rarely go on Loquax so this is my main source of comps. I don't tend to enter holiday comps as they're mainly for 2 & to places I don't want to visit

So I would guesstimate at about 30 - 40 per day give or take a few

Probably the same for me - about 40 a day:) I don't set a target, entering comps is meant to be enjoyable and not a core.

i know this is not a comp submission but i thought all you comp tie-break masters may be able to help so please read on.

heres the deal
8 off us from work are doing the manchester to blackpool bike ride for charity
the charity will be alder hey or booths hall childrens hospitals.
and no im not after your moneys.
the quest is we cant find a team name to enter as we are racing as a team.
the criteria that we would like although its not essential is a funny/comical team name now we would prefer to include the following if possible.

1.bike or cycle
2.water(we work for a water/utility company and they are providing some sponsorship so this is quite essential)
3.men

now whats on offer for the winning team name if we chose from this site i will personnaly donate £10 to the charity under your name and post the link on this site in a few days time as we are setting up a web page for sponsor ship so it will be all clear for you to see

please be quick though as we really need to get the team registered..

so get your thinking caps on
