I enter most of the ones on here and about 2 postal ones per day. When I started I entered all the ones on here and all the postal ones I could find but I now only enter the postal ones if the prize is of high value. It took me about 6 months to get a win which was only a CD and another 6 months for the second win which was only a tea towel. Keep on at it though.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Thats about 10,000 comps then, I hope your 6 wins included some good ones0 -
I enter all the ones on here (at least the ones for prizes I'd like!)
Been doing it since February. No wins yet, but optimistic! In need of a new signature! :rotfl:0 -
If you're feeling generous you always give them away to me!! :rotfl: We're saving to go to South Africa and the flights are so expensive and it would mean that DH could see his dad for the first time in years!
Failing that,
Can you phone Virgin and ask if they are transferrable?0 -

hi
I try and enter most comps listed on this site. I also enter local prize draws etc too. Depends on how much time i have, some days none - other days upwards of a hundred or so!!!
two wins so far and have been going since january.....still waiting for 'the big one'!!!
Good luck xr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
in my opinion you would be better to hold on to them and see if you can use them. Of course they could be used to their full potential and be worth a lot but equally you could use them for a smaller trip that you might be able to afford - e.g a two night budget break somewhere in eastern europe????
otherwise offer them to family and friends????r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
Hello
You will need to find the TC of the competition, I Have won Flights and Holidays over the years and they are getting harder to Transfer now
Most comps state no transferable, andthe name winner must fly,
You have a fab prize there but you need to know if you can pass on first
I won Oz with Fosters a little while back and thats non transferable
You can get some nice hotel in the off peak seasons cheap even if its for a 3/4 day break
Best of luck0
