Hmm to be honest, I'm the same as black-saturn, don't think you'd really get many takers for just a code on a letter & you may find yourself breaking ebay t&c's by selling such a thing as you have to sell a tangible item, hence the reason I was asking if they were in the form of vouchers, you'd be ok with them.

Think you're main options would be family / friends or keeping hold of them for the time being and see if your own luck changes and you'd be able to save and afford to go nearer the end of the year?

Thankfully Essex is a big county... would be a tad more worried if I lived on Isle of Wigit or Rutland :rotfl:

Are the tickets for flights only as to me £800 would seem a high price just for a couple of flight tickets, or can you book a virgin holiday up to the value?

The prize is for 2 return economy flights only, just as an example 2 people flying return from London to Havana in September would cost £1300 and the prize includes all airport taxes.

I could do more research but there are far more expsnive routes.

and as for an honest answer to ya question,

I just know where to look, been doing it for so long now its second nature, you end up knowing the timings of when websites change their comp pages, some tho are just lucky plucks out of thin air, theres no secret to it really :)

I've only managed to find one so far... and that was sent through by email from a company I'd purchased from before. I'll have to give the Google option a go and see if I can discover some, as yet, hidden gems :D.

And as for you kipper.... you'd have to find me first! :rotfl:

*goes off to hide, just in case kipper's spies are out there*

I found them by typing in 'win terms and conditions' into Google.

I'm not saying that there aren't expensive flights out there - just that I personally wouldn't pay £800 for just a couple of economy flights.
  • You can find some by typing in common phrases (in inverted commas) on google.

    "no purchase necessary"
    "win an ipod"
    "winner will receive"
    "worth of vouchers"
    "to giveaway"

And obviously make sure you only search the UK.

The only problem is some of the pages that turn up are expired competitions--some of them years old.
