    Hi there

Being new here I was wondering if there was a way to search the competitions by their closing date?

    Can anyone advise?

Also .. how do you keep track of which competitions you have entered!!

You could try the search but it certainly is not reliable.

  • Hi guys

Used to enter competitions many years ago but only postcard and slogan ones. Moved abroad and gave up comping. Moved back to UK and now ready to start again.
Have just spent several hours doing online entries and now realised its half 3 in the morning and I'm never gonna get up for school run.

But that comping passion is burning again and it feels great !

Biggest win I ever had was £1100 American fridge freezer from a slogan entry.
Cant wait for that excitement as the postie walks up the drive, trying to see if hes struggling with the weight of my prizes ! ( I can dream )

To all the newbies to comping , it took about 2 months for the prizes to roll in for me. I had just given up hope and had got so cheesed off with sticking stamps on cards, but it can take the companies quite a while to send out prizes and not all of them notify you - thats the best ones when you get something you least expect.

Great site and some great info on here. Thanks !

Welcome money. I had a break from comp for a few years due to circumstances. I loved getting back too. Some of the compers are still around - you stumble across them under different user names. There is alovely community on here which makes newcomers welcome.

I find postal comps much harder to get returns on now, but am doing well online, which has the added bonus of being free to enter.

Welcome babyboo. You will win you just need to hang in there.
  • Hi Babyboo -

The thrill of comping extends to seeing friends win too. On another site we did a big Mars Icecream slogan comp - it was hard work wading through hundreds of icecream bars but hey all in the name of comping ! Anyway the prize was £50,000 I think and someone on the site won it - I was (almost) as excited as if i had won it myself.

The more people you know of that win, the more chance it could be you very soon !
