Uh oh! I am back on the comps board again!!! I won a Pigsback competition last week, and now I just can't stop entering the competitions. I can't believe just how addictive it is!!!
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posts the comps and their answers. I got really excited this week because I thought I had found a comp to add (I feel bad entering all the comps and not contributing anything myself), but then I found fluffynit had already postedWill keep looking ...
Hope it's okay to post this here
I feel bad entering and not listing new comps, but just like you most of mine turn out to be listed before (I always do a search, but unless you are always on here, you miss so many).
Good luck with the comping. I find it hard to find the time, with everything else going on, but I'm not going to give up this time. Even if I only manage a couple of hours a week. You need something to dream about.Amazon Sellers Club Member Number 52

my question is this...What do you do with the prizes once you have won? Do you enjoy them or sell them?
Seems like a silly question I know but if you win something, do you sell to help pay off your debts?0 -
I enjoy most of them, odd ones that Im not interested in I will either give as presents or ebay. If Im not interested in the prize or cant make use of it I dont bother enteringWeight Loss - 102lb0

Hi hjb
You have won quite a few prizes  Is this all in 2007? Do you mind if I ask how long you spend on entering comps?
I don't enter the comps where I can't make use of the prizes either. It would be nicer for someone who actually wants the prize to win it.0 -
that's what i thought too... i'm only going to enter the ones I can benefit from (like food vouchers etc) and the ones that would be nice for me.
thanks guys!0 -
Hi
I wondered if anyone has had any experience of Simply Prizes? I got an email about them this morning and when you click the link you are taken to http://www.shopatoxonpress.com/SPZ7GS3/ which gives a sales pitch about the site.
They say there are loads of competitions to enter, but you have to pay 97p per month. I know that it isn't a great deal of money but it goes against my rule that I shouldn't need to pay to enter any competitions.
Thanks0 -

Hi Little Pickle
It would depend on whether I had debts or not though. I don't really have any (apart from mortgage etc) but if I did and I saw a comp for a PSP or something that I thought I could sell on ebay, I would probably enter with the intention of settling my debts earlier. Hope this helps0 -

You wouldn't be able to enter anything again yourself in case you broke any one entry per person rule.0 -

Thanks Thrupneybit. I hadn't thought of the one entry rule bit, and to be honest I was put off by the sales letter. Is anything that needs a sales letter like that really any good? Being new to comps, I just wanted to check I wasn't missing a trick0
