    Hi,

Is anyone on here in the National compers Alliance, i've been advited to join, but want to know if it's really valve for money.

As what they ask you to do you could do that for free online.

Is that the people who claim they'll enter comps on your behalf for a fee?
If it is, Why would you want to do that, comping is supposed to be a fun hobby / pastime.
How would you know which comps they entered for you.
You'd never be able to enter something safely yourself seperately in case you were disqualified for multiple entries

There are some ideal home mag ones posted on here which we haven't used a subscriber number for :

The ones with competition time on the right are still open, the ones with game over on the right are finished :D

    Hope that helps :D

I'm going to make a concerted effort to get back to page 1 today. Keep hovering between about 10 and 14...

Why would anyone need to know my income to let me win a holiday?

I had a phonecall at work today (always give my work no) saying I'd won a runner up prize of a week self catering in a choice of 4 places, but unless I confirmed that my income was over £25,000 pa I couldn't have it!

This seemed very strange, and I don't give those kind of details out, so I just said 'fine, thanks' and put the phone down.

Was it for real? Why should they need to know my income? Seems odd.

Seems odd does that. I for one wouldnt give anyone my income like that. If you have truly won the prize they shouldnt need any other details other than when and you would like to take the prize (as well as your name address etc)

Sounds like timeshare and not a genuine comp.

Yes, I'm glad I didn't give anything more out. It must have come from a competition, as they had my phone number and details. They probably gave one prize and tried to reel in a few mugs as well!

Defo a timeshare. They're not interested unless you;re a couple, are employed and earn over a certain amount each year.

Uh oh! I am back on the comps board again!!! I won a Pigsback competition last week, and now I just can't stop entering the competitions. I can't believe just how addictive it is!!! :p

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who posts the comps and their answers. I got really excited this week because I thought I had found a comp to add (I feel bad entering all the comps and not contributing anything myself), but then I found fluffynit had already posted :) Will keep looking ...

Hope it's okay to post this here :)
