  • As well as doing the comps on Pigsback I ordered £50 of vouchers with my Piggy Points - these will be used for birthdays in the coming months and I am counting this free money towards my Olympic challenge. The vouchers won't arrive until next week = after the start date of 7/1/7 ;)

Have started to look at changing gas/electric suppliers because our annual review on Staywarm has just arrived and the increase is 36%

I will have to get DH to ring them for our actual usage (they won't tell me because the account is in his name) so that I can do a proper comparison but I am trying to decide whether we should stay with the security of knowing the monthly price won't increase for another 12 months. We use a lot of gas because DH feels the cold due to his various medical problems and for similar reasons the washing machine is used more than you would expect for 2 adults. The letter from Staywarm says they are classing us as high users so perhaps we should stick with them. Decisions decisions.....

Have put in manual claim for R points for opening Smile bank account.

I have filed my request for judgement at court for my bank charges back from Halifax. I've then been mystery shopping. :D

I am writing out a weekly meal planner and getting back on the homemade food wagon again, i'm also going to contact my electricity supplier and ask endless questions about Economy 10 verses Economy 7. If i transfer to the later then i can do a uswitch type thing and hopefully save myself some money.

Well, my MSE ways are not brilliant today as I've just bought lunch but at least it's delicious!

The only other things I can claim are:
    1. Defrosting chicken for dinner tonight
    2. Got shampoo on 3 for 2 at Boots so I am now covered for a couple of months! :D

    Must do better!

Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
