5.1.07 what small DFW/MSE thing have you/will you do today?

Well, yesterday my plans went to pot, and instead I got some bank charge letters off, and made moves to correct errors on my credit rating.

Today I need to get to the bank to pay in my Olympic challenge cash so far and get something else on ebay.

Have a good day everyone, and remember that it all helps, however small!

    Morning Hypno.
    Today I will mostly be:

    1. calling Orange to switch to PAYG,
    2. checking on petrol prices for the cheapest diesel in my area, since I totally forgot to fill the car up yesterday and had to drive to work with everything switched off!
    3. Eating my leftovers from last night for lunch.

They're only small things, but this thread helps you to realise how everything adds up!
    Have a good weekend everyone!
    Overpay!
  • Mostly things that are in progress, not specifically happening today:

    1) Cancelling Orange contract phone
    2) Claiming back £25 in charges from First Direct current account
    3) Claiming back £30 in charges from First Direct joint account

I've just been working on the outline for the seller's thing at ebay, had some really useful feedback, thats one done today, but I'll have to rewrite the thing now.

Will be taking "packed lunch" (its lunch and tea and supper) to work - driving to London at 1pm, not back till 11pm tonight, I work in London one day a week. I kept a spending diary for about two weeks, which confirmed what I thought: my biggest unknown expense is hot drinks and snack foods when I'm outside the house for long periods.

Will try to make time this morning to get another insurance quote.

Got an email this morning from one set of accountants that the information I sent yesterday was what they needed; now its on to answering the humongous great letter from the other one.

Emptied various piggybanks around the place last night and have £12 small change bagged up and ready to bank - plus 130 euro which according to the post office website should sell back to them for £81! :j Plus there is still another £10 or so back in the pigs waiting to make up complete bags.

So my DFW thing for today is converting this into usable money. Does anyone know if I can pay small change into my alliance and leicester account at the PO? Or will I have to get cash back?
