Its £3.49 a bottle or 2 for £5.00
Doesnt look the nicest of wines but its for my next door neighbour, said I would work out the price for them and go and collect it as they are elderly
Im working it out as £9.77 for 6 bottles but that just seems far too cheap?0 -

tesco finest rose £8.79*4 also 2for£10
tesco finest chianti £7.99*2 2for£10
Tesco Finest Tempranillo £7.79*2 2for£10
J P Chenet White £4.99*3 3for£12
thanks xx
If im right if you got 6 bottles of the finest rose at £8.79 you would get £22.74 off for the 2 for £10 offer and then £13.18 for the 25% off the original price of £52.74 so would be £16.82The art of being happy is to be satisfied with what you have0 -

Thanks Im sure they will be over the moon at that seeing as they drink a bottle or 2 a day!Everything Happens for a Reason....0 -
redfraggle wrote: »Happy to help, but at the moment, you have 11 bottles so you wouldnt be maximising the 25% discount (which only kicks in at multiples of 6)
you'll need to do the 2 for £10 in multiples of 6 (3 lots) or 3 for £12 in 6 too (2 lots)
The offer says '6 bottles or more' (poster in shop window) so it should be fine for any number more than 6.
Just got back with 6x Cotes de Gascogne (finest, 2 for £10 so 6 for £30)
6 x £7.29 = £43.74
Less £13.74
Less 25% of £43.74 = £10.94
Total paid £19.06 (£3.18 per bottle).
This was in the Express in town and the wine is just flying off the shelves. They had none of the 3 for £12 at all, so I got what looked the best deal. We're going to the big store this evening to get what we can:)
And it only lasts till Sunday!0 -

The offer kicks in for 6 or more bottles. So if you had 2 x 2 for £10 and 1 x 3 for £12, all of the discounts apply, You do not have to buy in multiples of 6. HTH0 -
just got 6 normal size bottles and 12 small £32.50. No red on offer in small bottles at ours though.0

It doesn't matter how much it costs as it is seriously horrible. I bought it when it came out @ £2 a bottle and I took the undrunk bottles back for a refund.Still virtually alcohol free since 4/1/15. (10 Xmas/ New Year/Birthday drinks)
It takes 3500 calories to lose a pound in weight. Target 13 lbs weight loss. 18.5lbs lost 2nd May - 28 September.0 -
Just got back from the wine run!
I purchased four bottles red of Finest (2 for £10) @ £7.79 each
and two bottles of white Finest (2 of £10) @ £7.29 each
totalling £45.74
Wines 2 for £10 discount = £15.74
Wine Discount = £11.44
Grand total = £18.56
£3.09 per bottle.
That'll do nicely!
Thanks for the heads-up OP0
