I've got a £7 off £50 spend and I want to spend the least amount possible. I'm thinking of buying some bottles of the finest wine at £7.79. Does anybody know how tesco's tills work with this voucher? Does my final spend after all the discounts have to be over £50?
Yes, the amount must be over £50 after the discounts have been taken off.N1LDA:D0 -

In my experience its after all the discounts have been applied unfortuntately. My calculations for you are...
18 x finest malbec @7.79 a bottle - 2 for 10 offer = £90
25% discount = £35.06
Total to pay £54.94
with your voucher = £47.94 = £2.64 a bottle0 -
At 13:05 I bought 6 x 18.5cl mini bottles and both deals worked with 25 % taken off the original price.
So wine was £2.29 x 6 = £13.74. Discount 2 for £3 applied £4.74 and 'wine discount' £3.44 which is 25 % of £13.74.
The 2 4 £3 was not showing on the shelf. Total cost was £5.56, or 93p each. I bought finest Grenache Marsanne. I think last time there were some 2.49 wines which created a bigger discount, but did not see any this time.
Will give it a try tomorrow0 -

Happy to help, but at the moment, you have 11 bottles so you wouldnt be maximising the 25% discount (which only kicks in at multiples of 6)
you'll need to do the 2 for £10 in multiples of 6 (3 lots) or 3 for £12 in 6 too (2 lots)0 -
Having a blonde moment and cant work out how much 6 bottle of silver bay would cost.
Its £3.49 a bottle or 2 for £5.00
Doesnt look the nicest of wines but its for my next door neighbour, said I would work out the price for them and go and collect it as they are elderly
Im working it out as £9.77 for 6 bottles but that just seems far too cheap?Everything Happens for a Reason....0
