Just seen the same old sign in my Tesco so as long as thats up I would assume they must follow thge old R&R policy.0

How dare they get rid of the R'n'R Policy! That would be obscene!0

Surely not ... maybe it was just a sneaky Customter Skirmish's personage ... Tesco overcharge on average 3% per customer per year ... some as much as 10% ........ the R&R policy was put in place to 'calm' the outrage ....
I have seen the same CS person that has refunded to me ... (I'm no raider ... I haven't the time) ... give another customer the 'difference' ... and I am ashamed to say I have not spoken up at the time  ... I have however vowed to do so in future :ALittleBill ... the old sign is still on each till in our tesco - mind you I had never noticed what it actually said until joining this list - so will keep an eye on them0 -
I think it's being trialed in some stores, CSD told me last week it was changing to double the difference, but I haven't been back in since. There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so.0

Asda give you a £2 giftcard in addition to the difference0 -

I have thought that was maybe a CS 'option' before .... I had to comeback to store with something and one CS bod told the other to give me double back ... she put it through as normal and I didn't query but I wonder if they can do that if you have been 'troubled' to return an item?LittleBill ... Until they change the signs - they legally cant change the policy, so make sure youre not fobbed off!0

All tescos EVENTUALLY are going to stop R+R. There policy is going to be double the difference instead. This is happening VERY soon. Heard this in our Tesco and they told me that they were told it from head office. It's acase of just wait and see i'm afraid. You may walk and you may run
