You will see the whole dirty business is a scam by the number of silly threatening letters you receive. If theses scumbags took people to court, they would just get on with the job of having you served with court papers instead of sending out silly threats. Why do you think the troll is spending time on the this forum? Its so he can scare you into paying what you have no obligation to pay. Ignore this troll.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0

oh goodness, now i don't know what to do! Having read so many threads and comments i had decided to ignore what is a ridiculous fine anyway, but now that dude has scared me! I was at Matalan/ B and M a few weeks ago, was there for 2 hours and then received a £50 fine. Baring in mind i regularly shop there and have never seen these 'clearly signed' instructions, and the fact i spent over £200 that day, i was furious. Had decided to ignore the damned thing as advised, but really couldn't face going to court etc. Grrrrr. Dirty scumbags!
We often get PPC trolls with their mystical claims! Think about it do you ever hear of any other supposed creditor popping up on forums trying to legitimise their business.
The reason the likes of the latest muppet pop up is because they are being sussed. The number of people falling for their con is getting smaller, and their pips are being squeezed!
So they pop up here and try and scare some people. Its just the same as their letters. Ignore what they write and what they post.0 -
Okay, thanks guys. Today i have received the second letter with the pics of my car 'entering' and 'leaving' as i expected from advise on here. Not that that is proving anything, it is totally unclear who is driving, and there is absolutely no indication of where the damned picture was taken! The only other thing that has freaked me out is someone has started a new thread on here and she has been issues with court summons from this same company. I am trying to hold tight, not only do i not agree with it and by paying i would be admitting liability for something i do not accept, but it's a ridiculous charge. As i said, the guy on here freaked me and the new thread really scared me that she is being taken to court over two fines/invoices. I have also seen on watchdog etc that they all say not to pay too, and i have not made contact or appealed as this seems the wrong thing to do??? I am just hoping that if i ignore it it will totally go away!!!!
Thanks for all the advise and support, it is much appreciated!0 -
Have you sent a letter to the managers of the businesses on that retail area saying that thanks to harassment from a 3rd party acting on their behalf (name PPC) you shall be shopping at *name local rival* and telling your friends & family to do the same.
The landowners damages are nil so ignore the clowns0 -

Any case taken to court is very very well chosen! There is always something exceptional about them.
The average case like yours, mine, and most here dont go anywhere past the silly letters!;)0 -

it's absolutely nothing to do with not taking advice, my time was up today and i haven't paid the fine, but it still doesn't stop me feeling very very wary, and having seen the other thread where the woman is being taken to coutrt, only served to increase my anxiety. It isn't that i am not listening to, grateful for or don't respect the advice being given, it is simply that i wanted other people's take on this. The last thing i need or want is to go to court over the sake of £50. Not only is it a total pain in the rear, but due to my profession, it could cause me alsorts of other problems as well. I think the saying here applies, "If you have nothing nice- or helpful- to add, don't bother wasting your energy replying."
You can't expect people to believe you have never had a situation which has made you anxious, and i am sure in those instances you turned to people for advice, and whether or not their advice was right, it would not have stopped the anxiety you were feeling.
To everyone else who has been helpful and their comments have been productive. Thank you!0 -
Please note it's not a FINE!!What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

What court case are you concerned about? We regularly get trolls popping up saying they have received court papers or have been to court and lost.
Most are proven to be fictional or if its genuine its a cherry picked case.0 -

I know you are worried but if you are still calling it a 'fine' and are still worried about a Small Claim actually being won by a PPC - and somehow affecting your job - then you haven't read enough on this scam. It would only take half an hour of reading the main threads on the forum and you would no longer be thinking that this is going to have repercussions - it is NOT.
We regulars would all advise you to read the sticky threads at the top and any other thread on the first page that takes your fancy (except threads about REAL parking tickets from Councils):
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/...play.php?f=163
You will soon understand that you must just ignore the bogus PCN as it's a scam, it's NOT a fine.
Make sure you watch the Watchdog link on 'Welcome, please read before posting' (which no-one ever seems to!) and check out the preview pics of the 'scary debt collector letter-chain' (in 'PPC letters, what to expect') that you can look forward to filing in your drawer marked 'ignore, scam'.
ALWAYS simply ignore any private parking ticket. Only ever take seriously a ticket from the Police, TFL or a Council; it's really simple.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
