True, and the reason for this is that there is a far larger black and asian population in Birmingham than white.

Every picture I've seen of a rioter in the media has been of a black person. I don't know whether that's selective publishing or a representation of the truth.

Didn't the whole thing start because of what's called "black on black" crime?

It's not racist to state something, The rioters are predominantly Black - at least in my area (and from what I have seen on the news). HOWEVER, as seen from today, up north they are predominantly white. Ohhhhh racist @@

It's not actually rubbish. The rioters do appear to be mainly black as portrayed by the media.

Whether the media are being unfair is another matter.

For what its worth my opinion....the newspaper hype does add alot of fear & tension but I doubt they care one bit so long as they sell enough papers.
The media in general does put ideas into some kids heads hearing the police couldnt cope & seeing looting must get them thinking we could do that here....also hearing the Police chief say how many more officers they would have available tonight might not be to clever.

Well what do you want?? The news to report on only what you want to see?? Are you now saying the news reporters are racists because they are showing footage of looters who are predominately black?? Maybe the news reporters should put a call out for more white people to go out looting so it doesn't look so racist will that be fair?

White, black, english, asian, muslim, african, amercian, german etc it doesn't matter what background/race/religion they are if they are one of those causing all the damage and looting then they are scum, it doesn't get any clearer than that.

They aren't even protesting they are now just hiding behind "its a protest" I would bet a million quid if you caught ten of them and asked them what has sparked this they wouldn't have clue!!
