Riots in the media...whos to blame?

Is it just me, but are the media being unfair, the only people they appear to be showing that are looting, rioting, burning and pillaging are predominately of the Afro-Carribean persuasion?

depends on the area. in Tottenham, they probably are predominantly Afro-Caribbean. in Birmingham, all reports are that they were mainly white. i don't think it's a racist intent by the media as much as a reflection on where they have happened to have the coverage so far.

Some of the pictures I have seen of people rioting in London have included whites and asians, also adults despite media saying it is kids.

Maybe because the vast majority of the looters, rioters, arsonists and pillagers are black!

i guess most of us haven't been running around in the riots to have the in depth knowledge that you do. i mainly saw people with hoodies or masks on and couldn't really tell.

did you get a new TV while you were out confirming your racist view?

They had there jumpers on and hoods up, you'd expect them to wear gloves, wouldnt want a cold!!

Your joking?!
The hand-picked pictures the BBC put up seemed only to be of white rioters.

Other news outlets aren't doing that and are showing the true picture, which is that most of the rioters are indeed black.
