That's the usual stereotype. Of course you obviously didn't see the white kids out there doing this too. Yes, most were black and this type of lawlessness does seem to be more prevalent among blacks, but I'd also like to discover what made these people so brazen, so uncaring of the consequences, so that it does not happen again.

its coz they is hard and gangta innit. biggie and tupac was packing innit so so is dey innit man etc etc

lets face it - all this "lets look into the causes" nonsense is just that. it is a group of horrible little sh1ts out to cause havoc for a laugh in the knowledge there will be little or no consequence at all for the vast majority of the participants.

we need to just admit that there is a general section of filth in our society (mostly created by the indulgence of the lefty) that needs to be firmly irradicated. for good.

I have some news for you, Labour weren't in between 81 and 85, and it was the Tories who bankrupted the country in the 70's under Heath. If you need me to explain i will refer you to previous links :)

Lol try to keep up. Labour lost in 1979 after being in power for 5 years by which point the country was in a dire situation, inflation was sky-high & we'd just had the winter of discontent. Then we had geniuses protesting in 1981 saying their problems were all down to the new Tory Govt. Sound familiar? Do you need me to explain or provide links?

Remember the fuss labour made of Cameron talking of "Broken Britain"?

Well it appears labour now won't say anything against Cameron on this, as they have been reminded of what they had to say on the subject of broken britain and laughing it off. At least, thats what someone has suggested on the news.

See a few labour supporters are still trying to collect a party point though.

Labour handed over a healthy balance of payments in 1970, in fact here are the figures, I must admit I admire the Tory myth making machine.
Here is the UK balance of payments between 1964 - 1974 that would be Tory - Labour - Tory

Balance of payments 1964 (Tories leave power) -376 1970 (Labour leave power +579 1974 (Tories leave power) -3500

So this was the poison chalice handed to Labour in 74 resulting in help from the IMF. As it happens Labour never used the loan from the IMF and was reducing inflation and getting the economy in an even keel, unfortunately they were let down by idiots in the Union movement, oh and they didn't have those Oil revenues asset sale receipts to squander like Maggie
1974 - 1975 Crisis: 4-fold price rise for oil, miners' strike, 3 day week, political vacillation. Balance of payments current account deficit of £3.5 billion in 74,, and the effective exchange rate index falls from 83 to 73. Stagflation hits the world, then Britain. Real GDP falls, unemployment almost doubles, and inflation reaches record heights (24% in '75).

I'm absolutely amazed, and disgusted, at how weak the Police response has been.

Groups of criminal thugs vandalising property, looting local businesses, and then committing arson on a massive scale to cars, houses, shops, etc.

It's a miracle some innocent family hasn't died in one of those fires yet.

Long past time to bring back the water cannon, mounted police charges, and army issued with rubber bullets.

Well you did keep telling us the london housing market was on fire.
Didn't know you meant in literally.

To be fair they should hardly have needed extra help from the IMF, what with that eye-watering top rate of inflation at a cool 83%.

BTW you shouldn't confuse my hatred of nulabour with me being any kind of a Tory.

Where was that Argentina, oh you mean tax ;) BTW is was 98%, although it was 75% under the Tory govt with a doubling of VAT:eek: throw in sales of the family jewels and the oil revenues and that govt must have been spending some cash on those dole queues.

There were 6000 police on the streets of london last night, the police are prohibited by red tape from clobbering the culprits regardless of the destruction they are causing. All they can do is arrest, when it all calms down, take them in without causing physical harm and start the long drawn out process of interview and question (at a huge cost to an already overstreched budget). If the police handled the rioters with the necessary robust action this would once again have been called racist?

If this had happend in any African country, The Dugan family would have been told to stop interfeering with Police investigation and dogs, tear gas and rubber bullets would have been used on the crowds of rioters.

"Cuts" has caused this, I dont think so! a growing lawless group in society is what has caused this.

This is just utter utter !!!!!!!!. What sort of country have we become? Time to inflict maximum damage on these little !!!!s.
