I'm slowly realising that once I get my Finances under Control it means that I can afford little treats and weekends away....but ONLY once I've got those Finances under control and so that is a BIG Motivation....
Enough with the talk about "little treats and weekends" away.

You owe close to £30 000 and have normal living expenses to pay as well.

They are your priority. Nothing else.

Earning £19 in just less than 4 hours does not add up to treats.

I didn't say it did....What I said was that once I get my Finances under control I would like little treats....

I'm aware that I'm very much in Debt but if I dont' have Treats to look forward to then I will just give up....So they are important to me....

I'm not talking about taking 2 weeks to Florida...I'm talking about maybe a little trip to the Zoo one day....or a Trip to see my Brother in Plymouth where i can stay with him and it won't cost very much at all....

I'm aware that I've messed up and I'm doing the best I can to not do that again....I'm doing my best....

We all need something to aim for , something to look forward to, or life wouldnt be worth living.

You can have treats whilst you're in debt. Once you are paying off everything on time each week and earning a proper amount of money you will be able to start putting bits away to treat yourself without your debts being affected. Once you get to that stage they'll be no stopping you lol.

Shovel Lad - to expect someone to pay back £30,000 before treating themselves is crazy. Everyone needs time off and everyone is allowed to dream, especially whilst they are sat working and trying to achieve their target for the day!

Thank You Mara and Crimson Addict for your Support....

I could understand you Guys saying something strongly worded to me if I was going to spend £2k on a Holiday to Florida....but I think that having LITTLE treats are a good thing....

But that is in the future....Right now I have to focus on getting my Finances under Control...

Well I did it...I earned £25.95...took just under 5 hours which isn't great but Working during the day is not great because everything takes longer because the pay is less....But I wanted to get started on my Target for the Week so that's why I worked this Afternoon.

And I have to say I'm feeling pretty darned proud of myself for making a good start.

Tonight I'll be Working from about 11pm...not sure what time my Friend is leaving but he'll probably leave around 10pm I should think...so I'll start at 11pm...if he leaves earlier then I'll start earlier!!

Thank You again everyone for your Support....it has meant a LOT to me today...

    I absolutely agree with you.

When your finances are under control then you can start thinking about treats. At the moment though your finances are completely out of control.
When your finances are under control you will be paying your living expenses and making debt repayments without relying on pay day loans or other people.

You have done this very same thing numerous times in the past.
You report working a few hours and immediately start talking about treats when you get your fiances sorted. I don't actually think that thinking like that is helping you.

    You need a realistic budget.
    Essentail living expenses.
    Debt repayments.
    Treats.

This is what everyone needs to do. Not just you. This is what I had to do while repaying debt. Took me a seriously long time and was frankly very miserable at times. At the end of most weeks there wasn't enough money left to buy a Mars bar. But that was just tough. I had to pay the money I had borrowed back first. That's how it works. The world is not getting at you. If you don't want to pay back your debts then the other option is to declare yourself bankrupt.

Well done on hitting your first target of the day. Would be grand if you could top it up overnight to £50 ! Just think, If you can do this 5 days a week, thats £250 for you to throw at those pesky debts ! What a great start that would be. x

I absolutely agree - you can have treats while paying back debt.

When you have paid your current living expenses and debt repayments then you can start thinking about treats whatever you decide they are.

Dreaming is free but time off isn't for Helen. To pay the things she needs to requires her to work a serious number of hours. This has been talked about on here a lot in the past few weeks.

I'm not having a go at her. I've been where she was. I know what it's like to be looking at paying back a huge amount of debt with nothing to look forward to but work. It sucks big time.

Helen - dream your dreams, plan them, imagine them. Really, really think about them. Every little detail.
Then get on with paying off your debts so you can live your dreams.

I will be very happy the day I see your name on the Debt Free Roll of Honour.

It isn't money for the debts though - Helen needs to pay all her current living expenses first.

Helen, well done. Very proud of you for today. But you have got to keep this up. It is your job and how you earn money.

Lots of people go out to work for 9-12 hour days, you just work from home but you still have to put in the hours like everyone else. You are lucky that you don't have travel to work time which normally wastes a good couple of hours in London - also no travel expenses!

Like ShovelLad says, think big dreams, then do the groundwork to really make them happen. We are all rooting for you.

Think this could be a new way of working for you. Log on everyday at 11am. Work through until 3/4pm. Time out and then log on again at about 8pm (obviously not tonight as you have a friend over). Gives you the mornings off and all later afternoon/early evening for 'me' time. This could be reading a good book (from the library), catching up on some good TV, a lovely walk in the sunshine. Anything really that is free and makes you feel good.

I think that if you give yourself actual 'work' hours, like you would have in a desk job, then you may find it easier to stick to them.

    What do you think??
