DreamerHelen wrote: »Morning Everyone....
Well I had a CRACKING night last night.....I spent FOUR AND A HALF HOURS on the Phone to just ONE man....And most of it was him playing music to me down the Phone....It was AMAZING....and earned me LOTS of WONGA...So I was really thrilled with that....
I continued to Work until the early hours....Got some Sleep and now I feel on top of the World....
I'm not going to be able to take today off.....but that's okay....I just need to earn another £40 and then I can relax for a few hours before starting all over again for the Week....
Feeling REALLY positive today....and I know I can make my Target for this Week....
That's brilliant news Helen! Here's hoping for another good dayMust use my stash up!0 -
:T well done you, good to have a productive shift at work. Am i right in thinking your new week starts tonight ?
It must feel a bit like a treadmill at the mo, but just keep your eye on the next goal. As long as youre not putting anything onto the debt, it will come down.
Bot of a dreich day here, got some washing dried, but had to do a dash to the line when the raindrops hit the window !
Just relaxing in the conservatory now, view is over the farm to the sea, lots of buttercups around his year, makes a bonny splash of colour. The cows and calves are content, all lying down, not minding the weather at all.
nSD here, nearest shop is 5 miles away, i dont need anything, staying home and feeling contented ! Catch you soon xIts just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -

Hi Everyone....
:money:
I haven't got much to Report....Just keeping on plugging away with Work....
Now that College is out for the Summer my Week's feel rather empty....But that's a good thing as it is allowing me to Work more....which can only be a good thing....
I am sticking to my Targets....for the first time in a LONG time....and feeling really good about things...
And you're right Mara....The Debts ARE starting to come down....slowly but surely....By August 4 of the Debts will be gone completely and I can put that money towards some of the bigger Debts that aren't currently getting ANY money....which can only be a good thing....
Then another 2 Debts will be paid by Mid-September....
So it's all looking up....
Feels good that I'm managing on my own now without having to beg, borrow or steal (well, I never actually stole money!!)....But it feels great that I'm doing it all by myself....
I might not have any spare money right now....but at least I'm keeping up with my commitments...and that's the main thing...0 -
Almost all by yourself ... Remember mum bailed you out from the bailiffs. .. Its good you're feeling positive and have some extra time on your hands to throw a few more hours to work. The good thing is that you're seeing the debt decrease and you are winning.
Keep up the good work and keep smiling... If nothing else, it makes people wonder what youve been up to !:D xIts just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -
You are keeping up with the payments to your Mum I trust? and this years Council Tax? (or did you Mum include that as well?)Must use my stash up!0

Evening my little fruitbat !:p
Its a lovely evening here, Still loads of daylight, one of the benefits of almost living at the north pole !
Had a huge sort out & burning session tonight , the paperwork mountain has been conquered, The burning barrel outside was filled over & over with old bank statements & invoices , Why I keep stuff for so long, Ill never know. !
Still havent commited to this holiday, I have the pennies saved for it, but something is stopping me pressing that pay now button ! This MSE thing has me by the throat !!
Anyone else find it hard to start spending once you get debt free ?
Looked out my passport tonight, OMG .. I have aged since that pic was taken , only three years ago ! I must have a hard life ! lol
Not a very good day spend wise today, I went to the co-op for a couple of things and came out having spent £25 ! The dentist recommended that I use this "special" mouthwash .... Jeez, £4.85 a bottle !! My usual stuff is about £1.50 ! Still, I want to hang onto the teeth I have left, better do as Im told ! lol
Anyhoo, Its bedtime, Sweet Dreams all ... except poor helen whos doing the night shift AGAIN ! x:AIts just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0 -
Hey Mara and Everyone Else....
I'm suffering big-time from Hayfever.....And there is NOTHING I cna do about it....It's seriously hampering my Working but I'm still doing the best I can do and am still on Target for the Week so far....I'm just trying to sneeze in between Calls :rotfl:
I had a few 20p's and one £2 coin so decided to start saving those again.....Not sure what I'm going to spend them on yet at the end of the Year but it will be nice to have a little extra....maybe put it towards a LITTLE holiday...nothing extravagent....but we'll see....maybe just put it towards a day out...depends on how much I've saved....
But first things first is managing to make my Target EVERY SINGLE WEEK....once I have that under control THEN and only then can I start making some other Plans....Once I am paying everything EVERY single Week (which I am so far for the past few weeks) then I can start to save as well....
So I'm keeping it realistic....and long may it continue....0 -
This has been a lost day. Apart from hanging out the washing, cooking a roast dinner, and fetching the paper from the shop, i have done nothing ! Felt tired still while having brekkie, no excuse, was in bed early, been tired all day, now developed a very sore throat.
Hubby is very concerned as he needs me well enough to drive a tractor tomorrow . Besides, i dont have time to have a blinkin cold !
Almost a no spend day, the paper was 70p and i found a 50p outside the shop ! :T:T
Hope youre feeling better Helen, hay fever must be a miserable thing to have. Thank goodness i dont get that, living on a farm ! :rotfl:Its just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0
