work work work! Eat as cheaply as you can, don't eat more than you need, cut out any and all luxuries. It will make you feel absolutely crap but its only for the 2 weeks and it is absolutely necessary! You can do a whole weeks shopping for around £10 if you plan and stick to it. Ive had to do it before. You are fortunate that its only you you need to worry about.

I'm with the others - work and don't give in! I know you want to go to THAT show in November but I think you need to clear all your CT debts first - get on top of this and then save for a really good trip next year!

Well I'm kinda hoping to do both....but I DO agree that the CT Debt comes first and I have to clear that before I can even think about saving for "That Show"....

There's another reason that I'm down today....The Sentencing for my rapist is this Friday....and the Police don't think that he will get anymore time....they think that he will probably be let out...or he might get deported....but he probably won't serve anymore time....And I'm absolutely terrified that he will come after me...The Police say that's unlikely but what if they are wrong? What if he comes back and finishes what he started in November? I'm really genuinely frightened....and I'm trying to move on but it's not easy when I'm scared for my Life....

I just dont' know what to do for the best....I guess I just have to move on....and if he comes back for me then I'll just have to try and deal with it as best as I can...I certainly will NOT be letting him through the door, obviously....but just scared that he will be waiting outside the door when I come home....But I know also that I can't live like that....I just have to try and move on....

Going to try and get some sleep this Afternoon....try to sleep off these negative feelings and come back and work this Evening....

Thank You for all your Support everyone.....and for sticking with me even when I screw up....

Probably not the best advice but my sister used to keep a hammer under her pillow and when i walk to my house i keep a key between my fingers so if anything happened i could punch the person and the key would stab them and it would bloody hurt........ we're not a violent family but its whatever makes you feel safe at the end of the day.

More than likely though he'll stay away from you. He wouldn't risk it a second time cause the police would always look to him first.

I know its easy to say all this and that changing your feelings are a lot harder. In time you'll realise nothing will happen though.

Thank you hun....and it IS hard to change my feelings but I hope nothing will happen....But at the end of the day if he comes after me with a Gun I probably wont survive it...and I'd rather go out fighting than not...That might sound weird but it's the way I feel....

I've been told that I can't carry a Knife or Mace because if he does come after me and I use either of those then I'M the one that will be arrested and charged....

But I have been told that I CAN carry a bottle of perfume which apparently if I spray into the eyes it does the same thing as Mace....and, as you say, I can carry keys in my hand and hopefully manage to scrape them down his face....

I just have to believe that it will be okay...and that I will be okay...

But yes, VERY difficult to change the fear....but, as the book says, Feel the Fear and do it anyway...

I'd go for deodorant over perfume. It should do the same but you get a better spray than perfume. google it lol
