Thanks for that Hun , weight loss was only 2 lbs , not surprising really cos I ate like a bear about to hibernate, all weekend ! This week will be better, in June, I am meeting up with an old friend who I haven't seen In yonks , am about 2 stone heavier now than I was last time I saw her. Eeeek
Sorry to hear you're having nightmares, no advice from here I'm afraid, it's scary how real they can be.
Long shift at work, are the calls constant,or do you get wee breaks in between ?
I am back at work tomorrow after a long weekend off, not really looking forward to it either, but hey oh, mortgage won't pay itself !
2 pounds? WELL DONE!!!! That's great....and it's DOWN DOWN DOWN which is what you want....
You might be surprised when you see your Friend....they might have changed too....so don't worry too much about that...If they are a good Friend then they won't care and will just be pleased to see you....
Yes it IS a long Shift but I will take a Break every 4 hours or so for a short while....so it's not too bad....The Calls CAN come in as soon as you hang up from the last one...but they don't always...depends on whether it's busy or not....
I don't know if there is anything that can be done about the Nightmare....it is what it is....and I just have to try and move on and forget about it now...
Just had Pizza (bought from Tesco, NOT Takeout!!) and Chocolate Sauce and Ice Cream....NOT very healthy but VERY yummy!!
Just watching Airline now and making a few Phone Calls....0 -

Well done on the weight loss girls, isn't 2lbs a healthy amount to be losing? Remember that from my mum's weight watchers days!0

It is best to lose around 1-2 lb a week. That way it is more likely to stay off. To lose a lot of weight quickly you would have to stop eating or exercise a hell of a lot and those kind of things you just can't keep off so when you start eating (even if you eat better food) your body will panic and store it all in case you stop eating againSealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

2 pounds a week is definitely a healthy way to go....I LOVE watching things like the Biggest Loser but I DO worry because they are losing 100+ pounds in 7-10 Weeks and it just worries me because it can't be healthy doing it that way....As great as it is to lose weight quickly you have to think about keeping it off long-term....I remember seeing a Catch-Up on the Biggest Loser USA...and the Guy that won the first Series (there have been about 12 series now) well he has gained ALL the weight back that he lost....so that's gotta say something!!crimson.addict wrote: »It is best to lose around 1-2 lb a week. I agree Crimson hun....You've got to do it in a healthy way, NOT all at once by starving yourself....Although it's great to go to the Gym or go Walking or go to another Exercise thing....it's also about healthy eating at the same time.
I remember a Friend's Daughter who was really big....and she was taking weight-loss Pills but still eating Pizza and other really unhealthy food...and she couldnt understand why she wasn't losing weight....I tried to explain but she wasn't having any of it and as far as I know she is still overweight today....
I know I've got to do something about my Weight Loss....I'm just wanting to get the Work Thing under control and then I'll focus on the Weight Thing as well....I'm getting there slowly...
I found out today that I don't have to pay for my Prescriptions Pre-Payment Certificate this month or next month...so I had an extra £13 in my Bank Account....so I treated myself to a couple of foodie bits....which is a very very pleasant surprise!!
It feels nice to take it easy today....And then go off to College tonight all relaxed and chilled out....0 -
Bad Bad Helen, Treats are to be non foodie !! Enjoy your relaxing day offIts just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0

The way you're going Helen you will easily have the work thing sorted by June so you will be able to start as plannedAlso, you're starting to eat better already. You may have had pizza but it is FAR better for you from Tesco than from a take-away. Not to mention being better on the bank balance. Taking these little steps will have an impact for you and get you on the right path for June.
I'm glad you've found time to relax. I just hope it doesn't affect your target! I'm sure you wont let it with your new found positivity for workSealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

Yes, I feel like I have been taking the right Steps to get there....and slowly....rather than trying to change things all at once!!
I'm feeling crappy tonight so not going to College....The Nightmare yesterday really rocked me badly and I just can't make myself go out to College tonight....and feeling a bit sick and dizzy doesn't help!!crimson.addict wrote: »For all we know they could have been good foodie bits not bad-for-you foodie bits..... *looks at Helen hopefully*
Sorry to disappoint Crimson hun but it was 2 Cheese and Onion Sandwiches, Crisps and some Lindt Chocolate Truffles... :rotfl:
Going to be Working tonight....but not until later on....Going to try and relax and feel better first....0
