Yep, you've found me out. I'm giving up hovels in favour of teeny weeny tiny flats :rotfl:
Nothing wrong with laughing at your own jokes - just means you're telling them right
Right - giving you a gentle prod, get on with your cleaning. I shall expect a report about how clean and lovely it is later.

I knew it!!!!!! I have discovered your Evil Plan!!!
Right....I'll do a quick update but first...another of my Favourite Jokes....:
"How do you make a Venetian Blind?"......."Poke him in the Eye" :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Now I'm sat here giggling to myself....:D
Anyway....I've made a Start....I've done the Washing Up and put most of my Rubbish that was on my Worktop into a Bin-Bag which I'm going to take out very shortly....
I've opened the Window (even though it's pouring down!!) to get some Fresh Air into my very stale-smelling-of-indian-takeaway Flat...LoL...and also lit a Scented Candle....so that should take care of the VERY iffy smell!! LoL.
Now...Going to make a Plan of what I'm going to do today before I start Work:
1) Clear off the Floor that has lots of bits and pieces on it!!
2) Set up my little "Office" (a little space with a Desk and some shelves in the Corner of my Flat) so that I can use it for the First Time to Work from later on.
3) Get out all my Bank Statements for the Current Tax Year and put them in Order so that I can start to get my Incomings and Outgoings sorted so that I don't have to spend days and days doing it when the next Tax Return comes up!!
4) Empty out a Rucksack that (I'm ashamed to admit) I haven't emptied since I went to Paris in JuneAnd then put the Rucksack away somewhere.
5) Okay, this is the BIGGY!! Sort out my BIG set of shelves with all my Books on, put the Books in some sort of order, dust/polish and put away any Post that I've dumped on there.
I think that's probably enough for today....So, I'll make a Start!!0 -
Okay...so this was my list (I've put the ones that I've done in Green and the ones that I haven't done in Red:
1) Clear off the Floor that has lots of bits and pieces on it!!
2) Set up my little "Office" (a little space with a Desk and some shelves in the Corner of my Flat) so that I can use it for the First Time to Work from later on.

I'm now feeling quite sick and dizzy....I think it's because I have a Balance Disorder and I was turning my head too much and too quickly....
So I'm going to have a Bite to eat now...and then I'm going to sleep for a couple of hours and then I'll get up and Work and see how it goes....
If I have to finish the above off tomorrow, well that's not the end of the World...But we'll see what happens later...

Just popped in and was reading your diary.....you sound a lot like me with the "need to realise I'm an adult..."thing. I am sooooooo like that, just hope everything will sort itself out with no input from me....never happens lol
Hope you feel better after a sleep!Sept GC - £13.19/£150

Awww thanks for popping in and thank you for the Support...
Yep, I'm EXACTLY like that....I just think that it will all magically work out....and obviously it doesn't....I need to put in the Work to MAKE SURE that it works out!!
I'm feeling a little better after something to eat...So debating right now whether to Work for a while or not...Ummm'ing and Aaaaaah'ing at the moment...but regardless, I can't start Work right now as I have to make a Phone Call at 6pm...so I'll make that Phone Call and then decide how I'm feeling and whether I can Work...
The problem is that if I sleep I know myself and I'll end up sleeping all night...turning the Alarm off in my Sleep and that scares me because I HAVE to Work tonight!!
Anyway...Will see how I feel in an hour...:)0 -

I don't suppose there are many people on here at this time of the morning....But there you go....I'M here...and that's all that matters!! hehehehehehe0 -
Good morning
When you're in the jungle how do you stop a herd of elephants charging?
Take away their credit cards :rotfl:
Hope today goes well for you, look forward to hearing how you've got on xx0 -
Hey Everyone
Hovel Lady...Your Jokes are pretty much as bad as mine
Well I've spent today doing.....absolutely nothing....But it feels like it was needed as I have a really hectic Weekend coming up with Work....So I spent today with Family which was lovely....
We all went out to the Harvester for our Evening Meal....but I was heavily subsidised by Mum so it only ended up costing me a Fiver...which wasn't too bad...
Also did a bit of shopping which will last until the end of Monday (if I'm very careful) and it cost £5.37....and I now have £8 for Shopping to last until next Thursday...so that's not too bad...there's only me at home after all!!
Just about to get some sleep so I can get up later on and Work for the Night....
Catch ya all later...Love and Hugs, Helen xxx
The Stuff of Dreams
Save £4100 Before the End of 2011 Challenge
I'm currently Studying. My College Fees are already taken care of for the rest of 2011 but next Year I have to pay £4100 - I'll be paying a LOT of it from Tax Repayments and the rest will come from Ebay Sales and extra Wages.
Currently £0/£4100 (I WILL get there!!)
Terramundi Pot Challenge (To Open Saturday 19th November 2011)
I'm going to an Exhibition at Olympia (not sure if I'm allowed to post the name of it since it's a bit, ummm, risque LoL). I'm going to buy a Terramundi soon...and then start Saving with extra's from Wages (I can do as much Overtime as I like).

Budweiser Bottle Challenge (To Open 31st December 2011)
I have a great big massive Plastic Budweiser Bottle (appropriate since I used to work for the people that own Budweiser!!) and I'm going to fill that up with the odd pennies and coppers and 5p's and spare change.
This is for my Flight/Hotel/Food/Spends/Excursions on my Trip to Morocco in January 2012!! - A Big Ask But I'd Love To Get There!!
Currently £5.88
£144 in 144 Days Pt 1
This is all going to be from earning an extra pound every day from Overtime at Work, starting Wednesday 9th August. This first part is going to be for a set of the Beauty and the Beast DVD's (remember the old Series with Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman?) and also a new MP3 Player.
Currently £0/£144

This second part will be for what I call my "Soho Fund"....And that's for some fun things from Soho (I think I might leave that one for all your imaginations!! LoL :rotfl:)

£144 in 144 Days Pt 3
This third part will be for a Table for Two (haven't decided who with yet!!) and a Meal and the Show for the Wam Bam Burlesque Club in London for January or February of next Year. It looks amazing there but the Tickets for a Meal combined with the Show is £70 each..so that should work out nicely then!! :T

Writing A Book Challenge
So, I've been meaning to write a Book for ABSOLUTELY AGES!!! But never actually gotten around to it. So now I'm going to write one...Even if it never gets Published, so what, I'll still have written a Book. First step is to find out about practical stuff - ie: How many chapters should there be, how many words per chapter, etc. Then a Synopsis of the Book. Then start writing it....Oooooooh scary!!!- Nothing done so far, MUST get started!!
Losing The Weight For ME!!
So, I'm currently MASSIVELY overweight..by about 10 stones (and no, I'm NOT exaggerating). I've looked at my Budget and I can't really afford Slimming World so I'm going to do it by myself. I've decided that Weigh-In will be on a Monday so I need to get weighed on Monday at my Local Chemist, will post my Weight then!!
Start Weight: To Be Confirmed
Weight Lost: 0 pounds so far
