Well done you, hope you got some sleep and can get a few more calls in before midday. Its really worth logging on, even if its for a couple of hours, the wee tenners mount up, think you will have to grab every chance if you wanna make your new target, and hey, what does it matter if you smash it !
Go on hun, make me proud ! Lol
Just off to get the ferry, damp and misty here this morning, but the forecast is for sunshine so fingers crossed.
Later ........
Ps .. What money left over from last week, lol you were down to 6p as i remember !
Morning Hun....Have managed to get some Sleep....Will be cleaning the Flat this morning so if my Landlord DOES show up then he won't have ANY excuse to kick me out before next Year!!
The Money from this Week is basically that I delayed doing my Laundry so have a spare £25....My Laundry can wait for a week or two....it's not desperate....
Hope you have a REALLY great day hun....and I plan on logging on after the Plumber has been and gone....even if it's just for a couple of hours before my Evening Meal....that's better than nothing...and I'm doing the All-Nighter tonight again....but this time it will be ALL NIGHT as I don't have to get up for anything except my Tesco Delivery tomorrow afternoon....
Chat to you later hun xXx0 -
Okay....Really really scared here.....The Plumber should be here within the next hour or two...and I'm really scared that the Landlord will come with him....
I know I can't control that....and I just have to go with whatever happens.
I know that I have rights as a Tenant....he can't just throw me out....But I'm still scared....
Just wanted to share that....I'll let you know how it all goes....
Thanks for listening Guys...xXx0 -
I am out over lunch but will be thinking of youMust use my stash up!0

Thinking of you Helen. I'm sure everything will go ok. Remember it's your home and you can choose who stays and who goes. If anything is said ask him to leave, if he doesn't, call the police right away. They'll understand because of your rape you have the right to be apprehensive.Sealed Pot Challenge member #071 VSP #4

ive been reading this thread avidly for the past couple of weeks silently wishing you well and willing you on. Im feeling for you at the moment one thing you said earlier about laundry- £25 seems like a lot im presuming you dont have a washing machine. Any chance while you're brassic you could do it by hand (the pound shop sells good washing power for £1) or even better sneakily take some round to your mums or better still wash less! My sister commentated that id worn a dress fro the last 3 days but honestly it didnt smell!!0

How's it gone ?
As above - when on holiday I wash most stuff by hand and pop on line t dry, whilst its like this they dry quick. If you soak them long enough they don't take much cleaner (and tbh adult clothes aren't normally that dirty).Sealed pot challenge 822

Hi Everyone...and thank you for all of your Messages...I have really felt your Support today and really appreciated it!!
It went fine...the Landlord DIDN'T show up which was good....And the Plumber was really nice and he phoned the office and made it clear that it wasn't my fault so hopefully the Landlord will take that on board and won't hassle me.
The Plumber said that the last time they repaired my Shower they used the wrong Sealant and so of course it would leak!! So he has told the Office this and he has replaced it with the proper Sealant and hopefully that will do the trick.
He DID take pictures on the Landlord's request...but only of the Bathroom...so the only thing he can say is that the walls of the Shower have Limescale on them but we live in a hard water area so there is not much I can do about that...
So I'm feeling a LOT more positive....
On the Plus Side - WONGA IS GONE GONE GONE!!! So that feels really great....
I've also asked if I can take my Washing to Mum's on Sunday when I go over and she said that was fine....so that's a load off my mind....no pun intended....
So, thats all good....
On the downside I've got rotten toothache and no money for a Dentist....
I'm off to bed for a few hours....so then I can do a FULL Night Shift....I'll be Logging back on at 9pm for the Night Shift....and doing until 8am in the morning...and the Pay goes up at 8pm and Midnight and 2am...so thats good...
See you all later xXx0 -
Hi Helen, been away for a few days with the family so haven't been able to log-on here. Just read through the last few days of your diary.
Glad that things were OK with the plumber/landlord today. Limescale is definitely not a problem, so you shouldn't worry about that at all. Also, with regard to your tenancy. Please please please don't stress about this. You have a long time to get sorted (9 months) and your landlord cannot get rid of you before that time. So, I know it is hard, but try and put this to one side, and focus on the immediate issues like your grandad and paying your debts/your course etc.
Which reminds me, how much are you up to this week so far? I am guessing around £175??? I know that you have your text money coming next week which will help you out then, but you really need to remember why you are doing this. To have a better life! Focus focus focus missy.
Oh, and bye the way. You can get emergency dental treatment for £18 by calling NHS direct 111. They will give you the details of an emergency dentist in your area Probably waiting until tonight to do this, otherwise they will probably just say to go to your own dentist if it is open. Although, saying that, it shouldn't cost £££££ if you have a NHS dentist anyway. If you don't have a NHS dentist, go down the 111 route.
How is the texting going this week. Are the £££ adding up like before.
Till later ;-) x:money:0 -
Hey Pesto and Everybody....
Thank You for your lovely words Pesto...I will try not to worry about the Tenancy....I know he can't kick me out without good reason and I know Mum would have him down to Court in a millisecond if he tried....so that makes me feel a lot better....
I'm nowhere near what I should be....I'm only up to £109 so far this Week....And I want to get to £275....so I know I have a way to go....but the next 2 days are the highest paid so it should be fine!! And then I'll add the Texting Money and the small amount of money I've saved by doing Washing up at Mum's and that should be okay to pay my Bills...just about!!
The Texting has slowed down a little but then again I haven't been Online as much in the last Week....so that could be why....
I WILL focus for next Week....and this Weekend....Just have to stop worrying about everything....and focus on ME for a change!!
I know I can go to the Dentist on an NHS Charge but the Work that I have to have done is so extensive that it would cost a lot more.....I've had Toothache before and it goes away eventually in my experience....so it should be okay...I've got pretty good Painkillers here....although they are making me feel a little sick....That's another thing I have to save up for - Dental Treatment by the end of the Year....
I'm Online now....so hopefully tonight will be a busy busy busy Night....and I'm going to be on until 8am tomorrow morning...so we'll see how much I can earn in that time!! To stay on track for my Target I need to be earning about £56 as a minimum....so fingers crossed!!
So that's me....Really really really pleased that the Wonga Loan has gone...It felt sooooooooooo good crossing that off my List....
So....busy busy busy Weekend for me....But it will be nice to get back to normality xXx0 -
:hello::hello: hi hunni, Im home ! Ferry was an hour late as they had to stop on the way out to collect us and rescue a yacht which had run aground !!
Is been a long day .... 16 hours straight working, but the sun shone and the how was good. Lots of visitors on our stand, some gorgeous cattle, sheep and horses, oh and ferrets and a skunk, which i got to cuddle ! Lovely sail back tonight, the sun was setting over the islands, lots of seals and seabirds about.
So home at last, very tired , so planning an early night ! Hope ypu hold out to the nightshift, well, you really dont have an alternative do you ? Forget about working to a money target, do an time target instead ?
Glad the handyman visit went well ... If you have limescale, its easy removed with vinegar, or a limescale spray. We have hard water here too, and i try and do my shower at least once a month so it doesnt
build up.
Day out with sister and kiddles tomorrow, there will be coffee and cake amongst the entertainment !
Nite nite xxIts just a bad day, Not a bad life .. :cool:0
