I got 985 by clicking in the black blob that looks like a lake in the lower half of the screen - I did that because there was something about "Underwater" in the title of this week's task.
But a lot of people seem to be getting 998 or 999 so there must be some way of telling where it is - no idea what though.
Anyway, never mind, all the points do is show how many goes we get in the final draw - one go for every 1,000 points plus one for entering the first week, so unless there are over 1,000 tasks, or some so hard we only get a couple of hundred points, everbody who enters every week will probably end up with the same number of goes. How sweet it is to do nothing..... and then rest afterwards.0 -
Hmm - 883 - I was way out!! I tried changing the numbers in the longitude and lattitude box, i wonder if there are numbers that can locate the 999 spot!Official DFW Nerd 2100

I click around the map until I got 997 on map on left hand side coordinate, and got 989, whether that has anything to do with it I don't know
That was nearly at the top on the right.

I know that A is the correct answer to trial 3 part 3, in that A is the answer the puzzle accepts, but could someone please explain to me how on earth that comes to be the right answer?0
